Who Should Use the BITSAT 2026 Edit Window?

The edit window mainly helps candidates whose Class 12 board results were delayed. Students from boards such as the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) are among the primary users. The facility is also open to candidates who wish to update marks submitted earlier.

Applicants who could not upload their marks by the earlier June deadline can now complete the process. However, the extension applies only to marks submission and correction. It does not allow fresh BITSAT registration.

BITSAT 2026 Eligibility Marks

Admission is based on both the BITSAT score and Class 12 board marks. The minimum eligibility requirements are given below:

  • Candidates must secure at least 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology combined.
  • Candidates must score at least 60% marks in each of the three qualifying subjects.
  • The candidate must have passed Class 12 in 2025 or 2026.
  • A board topper from any recognised Central or State board is also eligible.

  • Visit the official admissions portal at admissions.bits-pilani.ac.in.

Documents to Keep Ready

Candidates should keep their Class 12 marksheet ready while filling out the form. Marks must be entered exactly as printed on the official statement. A scanned copy of the marksheet may also be required for upload.

Why This Matters

The marks edit facility can be used only once. A wrong entry cannot be corrected later at counselling. Any error here may affect campus and branch allotment during the iteration process.

Action Plan for Candidates

  1. Open admissions.bits-pilani.ac.in and log in to the account.
  2. Check the marks already entered against the original marksheet.
  3. Edit any incorrect subject-wise scores or aggregate figures.
  4. Confirm the 75% aggregate and 60% subject-wise eligibility.
  5. Submit the final entries before July 10, 2026.
Keep an Eye On

BITS Pilani is expected to release the next iteration result and campus allotment list shortly after July 10. Track the admissions portal for counselling, fee payment and reporting updates.
