CCMN 2026 Special Round 1 Seat Allotment Released at ccmn.admissions.nic.in; Check Last Date for Fee Payment

The Centralised Counselling for M.Sc./M.Sc. (Tech.) Admission (CCMN) 2026 Organising Committee has released the Special Round 1 seat allotment result. Candidates can check their allotment status on the official portal at ccmn.admissions.nic.in. The result was declared on July 22, 2026.

Allotted candidates must complete the online seat acceptance fee payment and document verification by July 24, 2026. The Special Round 2 seat allotment result will be published on July 27, 2026.

CCMN conducts counselling for admission to M.Sc. and M.Sc. (Tech.) programmes offered by NITs, IIEST Shibpur, and other participating Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs).

How to Check the CCMN 2026 Special Round 1 Seat Allotment Result?

Candidates who participated in the special round registration can check their allotment through the candidate login portal. The result displays the allotted institute, programme, and seat category based on the candidate’s IIT JAM 2026 score and submitted choices.

• Visit the official CCMN portal at ccmn.admissions.nic.in.
• Click on the candidate login link available on the homepage.
• Enter your JAM 2026 enrolment ID and password.
• Open the Special Round 1 seat allotment section.
• Check the allotted institute, programme, and seat category displayed on the screen.
• Download and save the seat allotment letter for future reference.

How to Complete Fee Payment and Document Verification?

Allotted candidates must accept their seats by paying the online partial admission fee. The payment window will close on July 24, 2026. Candidates must also upload the required documents for online document verification within the same deadline.

The payment can be made through:

• Net banking
• Debit card
• Credit card
• UPI

Candidates should keep clear scanned copies of the following documents ready:

• IIT JAM 2026 scorecard
• Class 10 marksheet
• Class 12 marksheet
• Qualifying degree certificate
• Category certificate, if applicable
• Photo identity proof

Who Can Participate in the Special Rounds?

Only candidates who completed the special round registration on or before July 19, 2026 are eligible for seat allotment.

Fresh candidates who did not register earlier cannot participate at this stage. The CCMN special rounds are conducted after the completion of the three regular counselling rounds to fill the remaining vacant seats at participating institutes.

Seat allotment continues to be based on the IIT JAM 2026 merit list, the candidate’s category, seat availability, and the choices submitted during registration.

The tentative seat vacancy list for the special rounds was last updated by the CCMN organising committee on July 13, 2026.

2. Download the provisional allotment letter and read all instructions carefully.
3. Pay the online seat acceptance fee before the July 24, 2026 deadline.
