The CCMT 2026 Special Round 1 seat allotment result is out at ccmt.admissions.nic.in. Allotted candidates must complete fee payment and document verification by July 24 2026. Round 2 allotment follows on July 27 2026.
The Centralised Counselling for M.Tech Admissions (CCMT) has released fresh counselling results. The CCMT 2026 Special Round 1 seat allotment result is now live at ccmt.admissions.nic.in. The last date for online fee payment and document verification is July 24, 2026.
The Special Round 2 seat allotment result will be released on July 27, 2026. Candidates who miss the July 24 deadline will lose their allotted seat. The Special Round covers vacancies remaining after the regular counselling rounds.
The CCMT counselling process serves as a single-window platform for M.Tech, M.Arch, and M.Plan admissions. It covers all 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, and several IIITs and GFTIs. A total of 76 institutes are participating in the CCMT 2026 counselling process.

CCMT 2026 Special Round Fee Structure
Candidates paid the Special Round registration fee and participation fee during registration. The participation fee will later be adjusted against the institute admission fee. The category-wise fee breakdown is provided below.

How to Check CCMT 2026 Special Round 1 Seat Allotment?
Candidates can view their allotted seats only through the candidate login available on the official CCMT portal. The direct login link is displayed on the homepage banner.
- Visit the official CCMT portal at ccmt.admissions.nic.in.
- Click on the candidate login link available on the homepage.
- Enter your GATE registration ID, password, and security pin.
- Open the Special Round 1 seat allotment section on the dashboard.
- View the allotted institute, programme, and category rank details.
- Download the provisional seat allotment letter for future reference.

How to Confirm the CCMT 2026 Allotted Seat?
Allotted candidates must complete two online steps before July 24, 2026. The first step is the online seat acceptance fee payment. The second step is the online document verification conducted by the allotted institute.
Payment can be made through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI. Candidates must upload scanned copies of their GATE scorecard, qualifying degree mark sheets, category certificate, and photo ID. The allotted institute will verify these documents online.

Options Available After Special Round 1 Allotment
Candidates who accept the allotted seat can select either the Freeze or Float option.
A frozen seat is confirmed and will not be upgraded or changed during Special Round 2. The Float option allows candidates to retain the currently allotted seat while remaining eligible for an upgrade in the next round.
Candidates who do not want the allotted seat can withdraw before the deadline. Withdrawal will release the seat for other candidates in the next round. Failure to complete the fee payment before July 24, 2026, will be treated as automatic rejection of the allotted seat.

The Special Round opens up vacant seats after regular counselling closes. All 31 NITs IIEST Shibpur IIITs and GFTIs join this round. It is often the last chance to secure an M.Tech seat for 2026.
