CPGET 2026 Counselling Registration Begins at cpgetadmissions.com; Check Last Date to Apply

The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has opened the Common Postgraduate Entrance Test (CPGET) 2026 counselling registration on the official portal at cpgetadmissions.com. The Directorate of Admissions, Osmania University, is conducting the counselling process. The Phase 1 registration and certificate verification window runs from August 24 to August 31, 2026.

Candidates who qualified the TS CPGET 2026 examination can now register for Phase 1 counselling. The admissions cover postgraduate programmes across nine state universities in Telangana. Seats will be allotted on the basis of TS CPGET rank, reservation rules, and web options exercised by each candidate.

TS CPGET 2026 Counselling Processing Fee

The processing fee is Rs 200 for General and OBC candidates. SC and ST candidates must pay Rs 150. The fee is accepted through online modes such as net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI on the counselling portal.

Nine state universities in Telangana admit postgraduate students through this counselling. Candidates can select courses across these institutions during the web options entry.

How to Register for TS CPGET 2026 Counselling?

The registration flow on the official portal involves five sequential stages. Each stage must be completed before moving to the next.

1. Visit the official portal at cpgetadmissions.com and click on the new registration link.
2. Enter the CPGET 2026 hall ticket number, rank, and personal details to create the counselling profile.
3. Pay the processing fee online using net banking, card, or UPI.
4. Upload scanned copies of original certificates for verification.
5. Submit the form and save the acknowledgement for future reference.

Which Certificates Are Required for Verification?

Candidates must keep scanned copies of academic and category documents ready before starting the upload step. Missing documents can delay verification and block web options entry.

• Qualifying degree marks memo and provisional certificate
• Class 10 and Intermediate marks memos
• Transfer certificate and study certificates
• Caste, income, and non-creamy layer certificates, where applicable

What Happens After Seat Allotment?

The Phase 1 seat allotment list will be published on September 14, 2026. Allotted candidates must download the allotment order from the counselling portal. Reporting at the allotted college must be completed on or before September 18, 2026.

Candidates who do not get a seat in Phase 1 can register again for the second phase. The Phase 2 registration is scheduled to begin on September 19, 2026.
