Delhi University Issues Modified Academic Calendar 2020-21

Delhi University has released a notification regarding the latest changes made to the academic calendar of 2020-21 due to the pandemic.

DU has published the notice on its official website. The university has modified its academic calendar because of the delays that took place due to the pandemic. According to the calendar issued for postgraduate and graduate courses, classes for odd semesters will start on 28 November. The examinations for the odd semesters will start from 12 December, and the winter break from 29 December.

Classes for even semesters will begin on 2 January 2021. Examinations will be held from 15 to 29 May 2021.

Usually, classes for odd semesters start in July. However, this time, classes will begin on 10 August.

There will be no mid-semester break and the winter break will be only three days long. The schedule will be hectic for both teachers and students throughout the semester.

The academic calendar notification dated 28 August 2020 is a revision of the previous academic calendars. The modified calendar will now be followed for all undergraduate and postgraduate courses across Delhi University.
