What Happens in DTE Goa BTech 2026 Round 1 Admissions?

Round 1 follows a fixed in-person process at DTE Porvorim. Candidates are called as per their merit number and category. The DTE team verifies all original documents at the counter. Eligible candidates then choose seats from the available list.

After seat selection, candidates pay the admission fee on the spot. A provisional admission letter is issued before they leave. Missing documents or late reporting may lead to seat cancellation.

Why This Matters

Goa scrapped its state entrance test (GCET) for engineering admissions. All BE seats now use JEE Main scores as the merit basis. The eligibility list is the first gate in the full counselling process.
