DU Declares Date-Sheet for upcoming OBE

Delhi University has finally declared the date-sheets for its upcoming online open-book exam on Thursday. The examination is set to be conducted for the final year students July 10 onwards.

The open book exam was earlier scheduled to begin from July 1. However, Delhi University announced that it will be postponing the exam by 10 days due to the current Covid-19 crisis. 

Students can now access the date-sheets for undergraduate and postgraduate courses available on the official website, du.ac.in. The date-sheets for the Undergraduate programs as uploaded on the University’s website have been prepared as per the examination forms submitted by the students, according to an official statement.

In order to better prepare students for the OBE, the University will be conducting mock examinations for UG and PG courses on July 4 onwards. 

According to the OBE date sheet, the time slots and dates for each course are different. For the B.Com, the exam on skill enhancement course will be conducted on July 10 from 10:30 to 2:30 PM. The exams for students in the fourth semester of MA in English will commence from July 10, 2020, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. The MA Political Science papers for the fourth semester will start from July 11, from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm. For the students of BA (Honours) courses under the choice-based credit system, all exams will be conducted from 11:30 am to 2:30 PM. 

The exams for GE or Generic Elective subjects will be separately given and scheduled during afternoon sessions. The timing will be from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Examinations for B.Sc (Honours) will be conducted in an early time slot from 7:30 am to 10:30 am. For most of the courses, the exams will conclude by July 20.
