The Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB), Faridabad will be conducting the Graduate Aptitude Test of Biotechnology (GAT-B) on June 30, 2020, for admission into various institutions under the Department of Biotechnology.
GAT-B is being conducted in place of the Combined Entrance Examination for Biotechnology (CEEB) which was conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi.
The candidates can apply online at the official site of the Regional Centre for Biotechnology anytime between 10 am to 12 pm from June 1 to 18, 2020.
The examination will be a Computer Based Test (CBT) with a time duration of 180 minutes and will be conducted across 58 cities in the nation. A total of 1221 seats will be available within 62 courses for admission through GAT-B.

On the basis of performance in the exam, students will be issued a GAT-B rank after which they will be able to apply for admission in their preferred institute and course among the participating institutes. The rank of GAT-B rank will be valid for a period of one year only.
Students admitted under the DBT supported program in any of the participating institutes will be paid a monthly stipend as per the rules laid down by the government.
