IIM Nagpur EMBA in Energy Management 2026 Round 1 Offers Released; Check Offer Acceptance Deadline

The Indian Institute of Management Nagpur (IIM Nagpur) has released the Round 1 admission offers for the Executive MBA in Energy Management (EMBA-EM) 2026-28 batch. Selected candidates can view their offers on the official admissions portal at admissions.iimnagpur.ac.in/exmba-em/login. The last date to accept the Round 1 offer is August 31, 2026.

The programme is offered by IIM Nagpur in partnership with the National Power Training Institute (NPTI), Government of India. It is designed for working professionals in the energy and allied sectors.

Applications for Round 2 are open on the same portal. Candidates who missed Round 1 can register and submit their forms until September 27, 2026.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

The EMBA-EM programme is aimed at mid to senior-level working professionals. Applicants must meet the following requirements as per the official admissions policy.

• A bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50 percent marks or equivalent CGPA.
• A minimum of three years of full-time work experience after graduation.
• Preference is given to candidates working in the energy and power sectors.

Programme Structure and Delivery

The programme runs over two years and is split into eight academic terms. Four terms are held in the first year and four in the second year.

Classes are conducted on weekends and weekday evenings. This lets working professionals continue their jobs without a career break.

The course includes four on-campus modules of five days each. Two modules are held at IIM Nagpur and two at NPTI centres.

Fee Structure

As per the official information, the total programme fee for the earlier 2025-27 batch was Rs 12,00,000. Candidates accepting the admission offer had to pay Rs 1,00,000 as the initial commitment amount. The fee for the 2026-28 batch will be as per the official offer letter issued by IIM Nagpur.

How to Accept the Round 1 Admission Offer?

Selected candidates should follow the steps below to secure their seat before the August 31, 2026 deadline.

1. Visit the admissions portal at admissions.iimnagpur.ac.in/exmba-em/login.
2. Log in using the registered credentials used during the application.
3. View the admission offer letter uploaded on the dashboard.
4. Read the terms and click on the acceptance option provided.
5. Pay the acceptance fee through the online payment gateway.
6. Download the payment receipt and acceptance confirmation for records.

How to Apply for Round 2 Admissions?

Round 2 is open for candidates who did not apply in the earlier round. The window closes on September 27, 2026.

1. Go to admissions.iimnagpur.ac.in/exmba-em/login and register as a new user.
2. Fill in personal, academic, and professional experience details.
3. Upload scanned copies of required documents and photograph.
4. Pay the application fee through the online payment gateway.
5. Submit the completed form before the September 27, 2026 deadline.
