IISER has released the IAT 2026 Round 6 closing ranks and seat allotment on iiseradmission.in. Candidates must accept the seat and pay the fee by August 30 to secure admission. Round 7 counselling will run from September 1 to 3.
The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) has released the Aptitude Test (IAT) 2026 Round 6 closing ranks on the official portal at iiseradmission.in. The admission body declared the Round 6 seat allotment result on August 28, 2026. Candidates can now view their allotted institute and category-wise closing rank by logging in with their application number and password.
The seat allotment was prepared using candidate ranks, filled preferences, and current seat availability. Admissions are open across seven IISER campuses this year. The full counselling process will run in eight rounds.

What Should Round 6 Allottees Do Next?
Allotted candidates must complete the seat acceptance process by August 30, 2026. This includes submitting the online willingness option and paying the seat acceptance fee. Missing the deadline will cancel the allotted seat automatically.
Candidates also need to report to the allotted institute by August 30. Original documents such as Class 10 and 12 marksheets, category certificates, and the IAT admit card must be kept ready.
