• Candidates must be graduates or diploma holders from any branch, provided they possess a background in Mathematics at the 10+2 level with a minimum of 50 percent marks. 

• Candidates with an undergraduate Mathematics or Statistics course, also with a minimum of 50 percent marks, will be given preference. Professionals with work experience in data science and basic programming skills, preferably in Python, can derive substantial benefits from the program.

IIT Delhi Certificate Programme in Data Science and Machine Learning: Evaluation Criteria

• Upon completing the course, participants will be awarded a certificate from IIT Delhi, contingent on achieving a minimum aggregate score of 50 percent. 

• The evaluation criteria include performance in three quizzes, successful contribution to a group project, and maintaining a minimum attendance of 70 percent. Participants with a minimum attendance of 90 percent, albeit falling short of the 50 percent marks requirement, will receive a participation certificate. 

• The program is meticulously crafted to equip candidates for prevailing industry requirements, offering a profound grasp of vital data science and machine learning tools and techniques, with a specific emphasis on Python.

• The curriculum, tailored for industry relevance, will acquaint participants with topics such as statistics for data science, optimization formulations with ML, deep learning, and the art of storytelling with data.
