The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has opened the Stray Vacancy Round registration for the NEET Undergraduate (UG) 2026 counselling cycle. The official portal is live at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
Candidates can register from October 13 to October 16, 2026. This round is open for both fresh and existing applicants. KEA will host the option entry and allotment schedule on its official website.
The round offers 664 unfilled MBBS seats across private medical colleges. No dental seats remain for allotment in this round. KEA may add more seats from forfeited Round 3 allotments.
Of these, 637 seats fall under the Others (OTH) management quota tier, with annual fees ranging from Rs 25.09 lakh to Rs 45 lakh. The remaining 27 seats sit at Srinivasa Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangalore, priced at Rs 22.25 lakh per year.

Who Is Eligible for the Stray Vacancy Round?
KEA has set clear eligibility rules for this round:
- Candidates must not hold a seat from the first three KEA rounds.
- They must not have reported to any AIQ, deemed, or private institute.
- Students holding a KEA dental seat can still apply here, provided they pay the MBBS course fees to switch over.
- Candidates allotted a Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) Round 4 seat cannot apply.
