The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra (CET Cell) has released the Maharashtra Bachelor of Business Administration Common Entrance Test (MAH BBA CET) Centralised Admission Process (CAP) 2026 Round 1 seat allotment result and cutoff. The provisional list is live on the official portal at bba2026.mahacet.org.in. Candidates who filled the option form between August 5 and August 7 can now log in and view their allotted institute.
The cutoff shows the last merit number admitted in each college under every category and quota. It also acts as the reference for candidates weighing a Freeze, Slide, or Upgrade decision. The confirmation window opened today, August 10, 2026, and closes on August 12, 2026.

How to Check the MAH BBA CET CAP 2026 Round 1 Cutoff?
The cutoff is published as a college-wise, category-wise closing merit number PDF. Candidates can check it through the steps below.
- Visit the official portal at bba2026.mahacet.org.in.
- Click on the CAP Round 1 cutoff link on the homepage.
- Select the required college and category from the list.
- Download the PDF and check the closing merit number.
- Save a copy for future counselling reference.

How to Accept the Allotted Seat?
Candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 must confirm it before the deadline. Missing this window will cancel the allotment automatically.
- Log in with your MAH BBA CAP 2026 application number and password.
- Open the seat acceptance tab on the candidate dashboard.
- Choose one status from Freeze, Float, or Slide.
- Upload the required documents and pay the acceptance fee online.
- Report to the allotted institute by 5 PM on August 12, 2026.
Freeze locks the current seat and ends further participation. Float and Slide keep the candidate in the running for Round 2 upgrades.

What Happens After Round 1?
Round 2 counselling begins on August 13, 2026. The Round 2 seat allotment will be declared on August 18, 2026. Reporting for Round 2 candidates must be completed by August 21, 2026.
Candidates who did not get a seat in Round 1 can re-fill their option form for Round 2. Those with a Float or Slide status will be considered for upgrades.
The Round 1 cutoff sets the benchmark for the entire CAP cycle. It signals which colleges are within reach for later rounds and helps candidates pick option forms wisely. A missed acceptance window in Round 1 cannot be reopened.
