The Maharashtra CET Cell has extended the MAH MBA CET CAP 2026 registration deadline to July 16, 2026, 5 PM. Candidates can now register and upload documents on mba2026.mahacet.org.in before the revised cut-off.
The State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell), Government of Maharashtra, has extended the Maharashtra MBA Common Entrance Test (MAH MBA CET) Centralised Admission Process (CAP) 2026 registration deadline. The revised last date is now July 16, 2026, till 5 PM. Candidates can complete the registration process on the official portal at mba2026.mahacet.org.in.
The deadline extension covers online registration and document upload for MBA and MMS admissions. The earlier deadline was July 12, 2026, at 5 PM. Around 1.4 lakh aspirants are expected to apply during this admission cycle.
The CAP process covers seats available across government, government-aided, and unaided private institutes in Maharashtra. Only candidates who have qualified MAH MBA CET 2026 or CMAT 2026 are eligible to register.
Candidates applying under the non-CAP or institute-level quota must submit their applications directly to the respective institutes.

How to Register for MAH MBA CET CAP 2026?
The registration and document upload process is conducted entirely through the official CAP portal. Candidates should keep scanned copies of all required documents ready before beginning the application process.
- Visit the official website at mba2026.mahacet.org.in.
- Click on the New Candidate Registration link available on the homepage.
- Enter the MAH MBA CET 2026 application number, roll number, and date of birth.
- Complete the CAP application form by entering the required personal, academic, and category details.
- Upload all the required scanned documents in the prescribed format and size.
- Pay the non-refundable registration fee through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.
- Submit the application form and download the confirmation page for future reference.

Which Documents Are Required for CAP Registration?
Candidates must upload all documents in the format and file size prescribed by the Maharashtra CET Cell. Missing, unclear, or incorrect documents may delay the verification process.
The documents required for MAH MBA CET CAP 2026 registration include:
- MAH MBA CET 2026 or CMAT 2026 scorecard
- Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets
- Graduation mark sheets and passing certificate
- Domicile certificate for Maharashtra state candidates
- Caste certificate, caste validity certificate, and non-creamy layer certificate, wherever applicable
- PwD, EWS, defence, or minority certificate, wherever applicable
- Aadhaar card
- Recent passport-size photograph and signature

Who Is Eligible for the MAH MBA CET CAP Round?
The MAH MBA CET CAP 2026 counselling process is open to candidates belonging to the following categories:
- Maharashtra state candidates
- All India candidates
- Jammu and Kashmir migrant candidates
- NRI candidates
- Foreign national candidates
Applicants must possess a valid MAH MBA CET 2026 or CMAT 2026 score. They must also satisfy the minimum graduation marks and other eligibility requirements prescribed by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra.
Candidates who fail to complete registration and upload the required documents by July 16, 2026, before 5 PM, may not be considered for the MAH MBA CET CAP 2026 admission process.
The four-day extension gives late applicants a second window. It also helps candidates stuck with document uploads or category certificate delays. Missing the July 16 cut-off means losing access to CAP seats in JBIMS, SIMSREE, PUMBA, and other top Maharashtra B-schools.
