MAH NEET PG 2026 Round 1 Counselling Begins; Check Complete Schedule Here

The State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell), Maharashtra, has issued the Maharashtra NEET PG (MAH NEET PG) 2026 Round 1 counselling schedule. The notice is available at medical2026.mahacet.org. Online registration for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) opens today, October 17, 2026.

The CAP covers 50 percent state quota seats in government and corporation colleges. It also fills 100 percent seats in private unaided colleges. Admissions span MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses across Maharashtra.

The CET Cell has released Notice No. 01 titled Schedule for Online Registration and CAP Round 1. Notice No. 02 covers the eligibility and registration process for NRI candidates. Both documents are hosted on the official portal.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

Candidates must have cleared NEET PG 2026 with the qualifying percentile. They need a valid MBBS degree recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Candidates must also meet Maharashtra state domicile and nativity rules set by the CET Cell.

Those who completed the compulsory rotating internship by the cut-off date can apply. NRI candidates must follow the separate process outlined in Notice No. 02.

• NEET PG 2026 admit card and scorecard
• MBBS degree certificate or provisional pass certificate
• MBBS mark sheets of all professional years
• Compulsory rotating internship completion certificate
• Permanent or provisional registration from NMC or State Medical Council
• Class 10 mark sheet or birth certificate for age proof
• Domicile and nativity certificate of Maharashtra
• Caste and non-creamy layer certificate, where applicable
• Valid government-issued photo ID proof

Candidates can complete the online registration using the steps below.

1. Visit the official portal at medical2026.mahacet.org.
2. Click on the New Registration link on the home page.
3. Create an account using a valid email ID and mobile number.
4. Fill in personal, academic, and NEET PG 2026 details.
5. Upload scanned copies of every required document.
6. Pay the registration fee through the available online modes.
7. Submit the application and download the confirmation page.

Fee and Payment Mode

The non-refundable online registration fee must be paid during form submission. Payment can be made through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI. The exact fee slab for each category is listed in the official Information Brochure.
