Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the fresh dates for admission to medical courses at UG and PG level along with super speciality courses at its official website: mcc.nic.in.

MCC Counselling for UG Medical Courses
MCC will be conducting the counselling process for UG medical programs (MBBS and BDS) based on the NEET 2020 scores.
MCC will be coordinating the counselling process for MBBS and BDS seats considered in the Institutional Quota, All India Quota and domicile of Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune, Central Universities and Employee State Insurance Corporation.
MCC will be counselling for MBBS and BDS in the following Central Universities:
- Aligarh Muslim University
- Banaras Hindu University
- Delhi University
- Faculty of Dentistry, Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi
Additionally, from 2020, admission to PGIMER and JIPMER will be through MCC Counselling 2020.

MCC Counselling for PG, PG Diploma Medical Courses
MCC will be coordinating the counselling process for MD, MS, PG Diploma and MDS courses. Interested candidates have to apply for MD or MS counselling using their NEET 2020 PG results. Likewise, MDS candidates have to apply after qualifying NEET MDS 2020.
MCC covers counselling for PG and PG diploma medical programs for the following universities:
- AIQ seats: 50% state-based seats excluding Jammu and Kashmir
- 50% AIQ seats in Employee State Insurance Corporation-led colleges
- Central Universities and Deemed Universities
- Central Institutes, PGIMSR, Basaidarapur, VMMC-Safdarjung Hospital, ABVIMS-RML Hospital and ESIC Institute, (50% AIQ seats and 50% of I.P University seats)
- Armed Forces Medical Services Institution

MCC Counselling for Super-Speciality Courses
MCC will be conducting counselling for super-speciality courses DM and MCh. Interested candidates have to qualify NEET SS 2020.
MCC counselling for super-speciality courses consider the following institutions:
- 50% AIQ seats for participating States
- Medical Colleges under Central Government / Universities established under Parliamentary Act/ Deemed Universities
- Universities established by an Act of Parliament/State/Union Territory Legislature
- Institutions established by Municipal Bodies, Trust, Society, Company or Minority bodies

MCC Counselling 2020: Process in Detail
Counselling process conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) can be categorized into four major steps, state below:
Registration of Candidates
To participate in the counselling process, candidates have to first register on the official website of MCC.
- From the Online Service section, click on the tab: new registration.
- Fill all the personal details: name, Date of Birth, email ID, mobile number and even the NEET roll number.
Submitting Application
After registration, users have to log in to the candidate portal using user ID (NEET Roll No) and password. Fill details in the application form, upload required documents and pay the application fee.
Choice-filling
After submitting applications, MCC will verify the eligibility of a candidate for that course. Candidates who qualify provisional verification by MCC should fill options for course and college as per their preference. Once the options are submitted, they cannot be changed.

Seat Allotment List
The final stage is to release the seat allotment list. Candidates who are selected in this list have to report to confirm the admission online.
They can choose to participate in the next round and upgrade by choosing options online. Once admissions are confirmed in online mode, candidates have to report to respective colleges with their documents.
