NEET PG 2019 Result for All India 50% quota seats will be released after the completion of exam via online mode. The authority releases the result in pdf format in which the name of qualified candidates along with category, score (out of 1500) and result status (qualified and not qualified) will be mentioned. Candidates can view the results on the official portal of NBE (National Board of Examinations). NEET PG 2019 will be conducted on January 6, 2019 across 41 cities.

  • Candidates can download their result using their testing id and date of birth.
  • Qualified candidates will be issued a unique All India NEET PG rank in top to bottom of their scores. NEET PG Rank Card 2019 will be available on February 2019.
  • The final merit list or category-wise merit list for 50% state quota seats will be published by the States/UT/Institutes. Only qualified candidates can participate in the online counselling.
  • A separate merit list will be prepared by State counselling authorities for state quota seats on the basis of NEET PG 2019 score.

NEET PG Result Date 2019

NEET PG Result 2019 will be released through online mode. The result will likely to be declared on January 2019. Candidates can download the result from the website. NEET PG written examination will likely to be conducted on January 2019.

NEET PG 2019 All India Rank (ranking of a candidate amongst all the appeared candidates)/Rank Card will likely to be released on February 2019. Result for 50% AIQ seats will likely to be declared on February 2019.


How to Check NEET PG 2019 Result?

NEET PG 2019 Result will be uploaded online on the official site of the NBE. The result is announced in the form of score card. Candidates can check their results by entering their credentials namely Confirmation No., Testing ID and Date of Birth which is mentioned on the admit card issued by NBE.

Steps to check the NEET PG Result and score card is mentioned below:

  1. Visit the official site of NBE
  2. Click on the link for “NEET PG 2019 Results”
  3. Enter the required credentials, i.e., testing id and date of birth to download the result

Candidates are advised to download the final score card as it would be required at the time of counselling as well as final reporting to the college for admission.


NEET PG 2019 Score Card

In NEET PG 2019 scorecard the candidate’s all India rank will be printed along with other details. Candidates would be able to download their result cum score card from the website. Candidates would have to use their testing ID and date of birth to download their score card.

Result can also be seen through offline mode at Notice Board at Ansari Nagar Office of National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. Score card is not be sent to the any candidate individually.

Normalization of Score for NEET PG 2019

Normalization of score includes thepercentile score which basically means the minimum marks required to qualify the examination. The calculation of the percentile score is based on the applicant’s percentile in the exam in relation to the marks obtained by other applicants.

Apart from this, candidates may also calculate their percentile score once their ranks are out by using the below-mentioned formula:

The procedure to calculate the score based on the marking scheme of the NEET PG 2019 exam is given below:

  • For every correct answer, the candidate will score 4 marks.
  • For each incorrect answer, -1 will be deducted.
  • For marking more than one answer, candidate will score 0 marks.
  • For un-attempted or blank answers, student will score 0 marks.

Procedure to calculate the NEET PG 2019 Score is mentioned below:

Total number of Correct answers x 4 – Total number of Incorrect answers x -1= NEET 2019 Score


NEET PG 2019: Answer Key

NEET PG 2019 answer key will be made available online by NBE (National Board of Examination) after the exams are conducted in last week of December. In order to evaluate their own performance in the NEET PG 2019 exam, students can check with the answer key online.

The examination is scheduled to be held on January 7, 2019 and so the corresponding answer sheet will be made available by NBE from January 15, 2019, to January 31, 2019 through the official portal.

Steps to download answer key:

  1. Visit the official site i.e. nbe.edu.in
  2. Click on the link for “NEET PG 2019 Answer Key”
  3. Enter your testing id and date of birth.
  4. Answer key will be displayed on the screen.
  5. Download the official answer key and verify the result.

NEET PG 2019 Merit List

NEET PG 2019 Merit list will be prepared by NBE based on candidate’s score in the examination. NBE is responsible for preparing the merit list for All India 50% quota seats whereas the state counselling authorities.

Tie Breaker

In case two or more candidates have scored similar marks in this examination, the following stated tie breaker will determine the result:

  • Student older in age will be preferred: All the important details regarding the reservation for NEET PG 2019 are as follows:
  • All India NEET-PG 2019 rank: This is the overall merit position for all the students who have appeared for NEET PG 2019 examination.
  • All India 50% quota rank: This is the overall merit position for the candidates who have appeared in the examination and lie in the category of quota. All over India, 50% seats are reserved for MD/MS/Post-Graduate Diploma Courses 2019 admission session.
  • All India 50% quota Category Rank: 50% seats, all over India, are reserved for candidates appearing for the NEET PG 2019 who falls in the category of SC/ST/OBC.
  • State quota/ Private medical colleges/Deemed University/AFMS Rank: Seats are also reserved for students with state quota rank, state category rank and rural posting.

NEET PG 2019 Cut Off

Cut-off marks are declared by NBE (National Board of Examination), once the results are out, based on which students get admission in respective colleges. The expected date of NEET PG 2019 examination is on January 7, 2019 and the expected result date by January 31, 2019.

The minimum cut off marks are likely to depend on a number of factors depend on the following factors:

  • Number of Candidates appeared for the AIEED exam
  • No of candidates passed the exam
  • Difficulty level of question paper
  • No. Of vacancy for this exam
  • Cut off may also be sectional wise

NEET PG 2019 Counselling

NEET PG 2019 Counselling is expected to be conducted by NBE for the given quotas. All the information regarding NEET PG 2019 counselling is mentioned below. However, the information is tentative and subject to change:

  • All India 50% Quota Seats: Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) of Directorate General of Health Services, Government of India conducts the counselling for All India Quota 50% referring to the student’s result in NEET PG 2019.
  • State Quota Seats: The concerned States / designated authority / University conducts the counselling for state quota seats as per their score in the examination.
  • Admission In Private Medical Colleges, Institutes, Universities, Deemed Universities: The counselling for candidates to get admission in private medical colleges, institutes, universities and deemed universities are conducted by designated counselling authority of these Private Colleges/ Institutions/ Institutes/ Universities/ Deemed Universities.
  • Admission In Armed Forces Medical Service Institutions: The counselling to get admission in armed forces medical service institutions is conducted by the Directorate General Armed Forces Medical Services (DGAFMS), Ministry of Defense, Government of India based on the rank and marks scored by the student.
  • Admission In Dnb Broad Specialty Courses: NBE (National Board of Examination) conducts the centralized merit based counselling based on the rank of the student in NEET PG 2019.
