Mumbai University has also decided that exams for 5th-semester students who are in their final year will be decentralized.

For the convenience of students, exams for 5th-semester will be conducted at college level. However, exams for 1st and 2nd-year students will anyway be conducted in a decentralized manner.

Semester-end exam format for Mumbai University Science, Arts, and Commerce courses will consist of 25 multiple-choice questions. However, it is claimed that asked questions in exams would be of higher difficulty levels.

Although, there will definitely be a slight difference in the exam pattern for MU professional courses offered in the field of engineering and law.

Since Mumbai University decided to use Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) format for semester-end exams, it will skip the process of revaluation. Final decisions related to semester-end exams are yet to be taken by the Board of Examinations.
