Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) or Nagpur University is scheduled to conduct the Summer 2020 examinations for backlog students of various programs through different modes; online, offline, or mixed mode. However, the schedule of examinations has not been declared yet.

According to Nagpur University (RTMNU) special rules for conduction of summer 2020 exams, a backlog student can start with either mode of exam. However, if a student encounters any problem with their respective mode, then they can switch from online to offline or vice-versa.

The varsity has taken the decision for only backlog students who have cleared their final year exams. However, due to COVID-19 and subsequent lockdown, NU Summer Exam 2020 were cancelled, and students couldn’t appear for their backlog exams.

Summer Exams 2020 which were cancelled in wake of the pandemic were never held afterwards. Following which, the university decided to merge summer and winter exams. However, the schedule for winter exams is yet to be released.

Earlier, backlog students had opposed Nagpur University's decision to charge an examination fee for the Winter session.
