Rajasthan Board Secondary Education (RBSE) has not released any official update regarding Rajasthan Board Exam 2021 for class 5th and 8th. This delay from the board has created tension and confusion among 25 lakh students appearing for Board Exam 2021.
Generally, Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) releases Board exam forms and commences its registration process in November. However, this year the Board has not begun the registration process yet for Class 5th and 8th Board exam 2021.
Earlier, Rajasthan Board Exam 2021 for class 5th and 8th was scheduled to be conducted in April. However, with effect to the Covid-19 pandemic crisis and subsequent lockdown, the Board exams have been rescheduled. The board is yet to decide the date.

Rajasthan Board Secondary Education (RBSE) has not released the updated Class 5th & 8th syllabus as of now. Due to the delay from the board, Department of Elementary Education sought guidance from the Education Minister.
Earlier in September, the board had taken the decision that this year students failing in their class 8th Board Examination will be retained for their poor performance. So far, there was no provision as such.
However, there was a provision under the Right to Education Act that no student was allowed to retain till Class 8th. State Government amended the Act and implemented the provision of supplementary examination for students failing in class 8th Board exams 2021.
Meanwhile, Rajasthan Board has started the Rajasthan Board Exam 2021 registration process for class 10th & 12th. The Board commenced the registration process for the class 10th &12th Board examinations 2021 on October 26, 2020.
Registration process for Class 10th and 12th is likely to end on November 30, 2020. Candidates are requested to visit the RBSE official website regularly for recent updates.
