Rajasthan NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 1 Choice Filling Begins; Check Last Date to Lock Choices

The Medical Education Department (MED), Rajasthan has opened Round 1 choice filling for the NEET UG 2026 state counselling on ug.neetrajasthan.com. The window went live on August 14, 2026.

NEET UG stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate. The state counselling covers MBBS and BDS seats in Rajasthan. It applies to government, government society, and private colleges.

The choice filling window runs from August 14 to August 20, 2026. All choices will auto-lock at 11:55 PM on August 20. Candidates must also pay the applicable security deposit during this period.

Rajasthan NEET UG 2026 Round 1 Important Dates

Application Fee and Security Deposit

The registration fee for Round 1 counselling is category-based. General, EWS, and non-domicile candidates pay Rs 2,500. Rajasthan domicile candidates from SC, ST, and STA categories pay Rs 1,500.

The application fee is non-refundable and must be paid online. Candidates applying only for BDS seats are exempt from this fee.

A refundable security deposit is also required during choice filling. The amount depends on the seat category a candidate selects.

How to Fill and Lock Choices on ug.neetrajasthan.com?

Candidates must complete Round 1 registration before opening the choice filling module. The portal opens the choice list only for eligible applicants. Follow the steps below to fill and lock choices safely.

1. Visit the official portal at ug.neetrajasthan.com.
2. Log in using your registered ID and password.
3. Pay the applicable security deposit for your seat category.
4. Open the choice filling module and view available colleges.
5. Add MBBS or BDS choices in your preferred order.
6. Rearrange the list until the priority reflects your goals.
7. Click Save after every change to avoid data loss.
8. Lock final choices before 11:55 PM on August 20.
9. Download the locked choice list for your personal record.

Documents Required at Reporting

Selected candidates must report between August 23 and August 27, 2026. Reporting will be held at the Academic Block, SMS Medical College, Jaipur. Candidates should carry all originals along with photocopies for verification.

• Four copies of the Round 1 provisional seat allotment letter
• NEET UG 2026 admit card and scorecard in original
• Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and certificates
• Rajasthan domicile certificate in original, where applicable
• Category and EWS certificates from the competent authority
• Two sets of photocopies of the counselling application form
• Valid photo ID such as Aadhaar or PAN card

2. Check the provisional merit list on August 18, 2026.
3. Pay the correct security deposit for your target seat category.
4. Fill MBBS and BDS preferences in strict priority order.

6. Save the locked choice list and reporting checklist offline.
