Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Sardar Patel College of Engineering (SPCE), Mumbai has opened the B.Tech Institute Level Direct Counselling (Spot) Round for the academic year 2026-27. The notice has been issued on the official website of SPCE at spce.ac.in. The round is being conducted to fill vacant seats remaining after the Maharashtra State CET Cell CAP rounds.

SPCE is a Bhavan's institution affiliated with the University of Mumbai. It offers first-year B.Tech admission in three branches: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering. Regular classes for the 2026-27 batch are scheduled to begin on September 8, 2026.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

The SPCE Spot Round is open to candidates with a valid MHT-CET 2026 or JEE Main 2026 score. Applicants must also meet the standard first-year B.Tech eligibility criteria prescribed by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra.

Candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. They must also have studied a third subject from Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Vocational Studies or Computer Science. The required minimum aggregate must meet the applicable DTE Maharashtra norms for open or reserved-category candidates.

The seats available through this round are those remaining vacant after the Maharashtra CET Cell CAP-IV round. The branch-wise vacant seat matrix will be published on the SPCE website before the release of the merit list.
