TANCET 2026 provisional rank lists for MBA and MCA are now out at tn-mbamca.com. The grievance window closes July 20 at 5 PM. MCA choice filling starts July 25 and MBA counselling begins July 30.
The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) has released TANCET 2026 rank lists. The Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test rank lists cover four programmes. Candidates can download the PDFs at tn-mbamca.com.
The lists cover MBA, MBA-DAP, MCA, and MCA-DAP admissions. Separate PDFs are published for each category. DAP refers to Differently Abled Persons applying under the reserved quota.
A grievance redressal window is open for five days. Candidates must flag discrepancies in rank or personal details before the deadline. All key dates are listed in the schedule below.

How to Download the TANCET 2026 Rank List?
Candidates must follow these steps to check their provisional rank. The PDFs are hosted directly on the DTE counselling portal.
- Visit the official portal at tn-mbamca.com.
- Locate the announcement titled Provisional Rank List 2026.
- Click the relevant link for MBA, MBA-DAP, MCA, or MCA-DAP.
- Open the PDF and search using the application number.
- Save a copy for counselling reference.
How to Raise an Objection Against the Rank List?
Candidates should raise issues only if genuine errors exist. The grievance letter follows a formal written format.
- Review personal details, category, and rank on the PDF.
- Draft a formal grievance mentioning the application number.
- Attach supporting documents such as the TANCET admit card.
- Address the grievance to the Secretary TN MBA/MCA Admissions.

Fees vary by category. Tamil Nadu candidates from reserved groups pay less.
