Eligibility for B.Tech and B.Des Programmes
For B.Tech programmes in Civil, CSE, Electrical, ECE, and Mechanical Engineering, applicants must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination. A minimum aggregate of 60 percent is required with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology.
For the B.Des programme, candidates need 10+2 in Science, Arts and Humanities, or Commerce with a minimum of 60 percent marks. A valid UCEED 2026, DAT 2026 Prelims, or TUEE 2026 Design score is mandatory.
Seat Distribution Across Programmes
The B.Tech specialisations offer between 33 and 63 seats each. For the JEE Main channel, 60 percent of seats are reserved for the North-East quota and 40 percent are filled through JoSAA and CSAB. The B.Des programme has a total of 30 seats, with 60 percent for Northeast states and 40 percent open to all-India candidates.
