TN Health has released the tentative counseling schedule for GNM 2023-2024, including registration, choice filling, and the date for the final result of the 1st allotment.
New Delhi: The Tamil Nadu Health (TN Health) department has announced the provisional online counseling timetable for the Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) program for the 2023-2024 session.
As per the provisional online counseling timetable for the Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) program, the registration, payment, choice filling, and locking have already been commenced from October 7, 2023, at 10:00 AM, which will continue until October 10, 2023, at 5:00 PM, and the final result for the 1st allotment will be announced on October 12, 2023.
The registered candidates will be able to download the provisional allotment order from October 12 to 16, 2023. The deadline for the TN GNM Admission will be by 5 PM on October 17, 2023.

The counseling schedule is categorized into four groups as follows:
- Special and General Categories (Including Sports, PH, IRT Ward, Ex-servicemen)
- Other Group – Rank Range: GR 001 to GR 466
- Vocational Group – Rank Range: GR 001 to GR 403
- Science Group – Rank Range: GR 001 to GR 9639
Candidates participating in the online counseling for a Diploma in Nursing are required to submit a non-refundable processing fee of INR 250 online through Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.
Candidates seeking TN GNM Admission should exercise caution when filling out their choices. Once choices are locked during the online counseling, they cannot be modified later.
It's important to note that requests for changing colleges after making a selection are not allowed. Additionally, candidates who have secured a seat but did not join the course will not be eligible for subsequent rounds of online counseling.
Admission to the Diploma in Nursing courses will be conducted through online counseling, considering the candidates' ranks and following reservation rules.
Candidates who are selected for admission must submit a self-declaration form when reporting to the respective college. This declaration states that they may forfeit their selection or admission if any suppression of facts or misrepresentation is discovered at any point during or after the admission process.
Candidates who have been allotted seats must promptly download their provisional allotment orders and complete their course enrollment at the respective Medical College/Institution within the specified date and time. During this process, candidates are required to present their original certificates in person along with photocopies to the relevant Colleges.
Failure to report to the designated Head of the Institution within the specified timeframe will result in the cancellation of their selection and/or admission, and no further notification will be issued in this regard.
