TS ECET Counselling 2026 Registration Begins at tgecetnicin

The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has opened the Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS ECET) 2026 counselling registration on the official portal at tgecet.nic.in. The online registration window started on June 15, 2026 and will close on June 18, 2026. Only candidates with a valid TS ECET 2026 rank can apply.

The counselling is held for lateral entry admission into the second year of B.E., B.Tech and B.Pharmacy courses. It covers seats in Telangana's engineering and pharmacy colleges. The full schedule is available in the official detailed notification.

TS ECET 2026 Counselling Fee

The processing fee differs by category. It must be paid online during registration.

Payment can be made through credit card, debit card or net banking. The fee is non-refundable.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

Candidates must hold a valid TS ECET 2026 rank to register. The eligibility is based on the qualifying examination marks and course stream.

Diploma in Engineering, Technology or Pharmacy from a recognised board.
B.Sc degree with Mathematics for the relevant lateral entry stream.
Minimum 45 percent marks in the qualifying exam for General category.
Minimum 40 percent marks for SC, ST and reserved categories.

How to Register for TS ECET 2026 Counselling?

Registration is fully online. Candidates must complete each step in the correct order before the deadline.

Visit the official portal at tgecet.nic.in.
Enter the TS ECET 2026 registration number, hall ticket number and date of birth.
Pay the processing fee online through net banking, debit card or credit card.
Book a slot at the nearest Help Line Centre for certificate verification.
Attend certificate verification with all original documents on the booked date.
Log in again to exercise web options for colleges and courses.
Save and freeze the option list before June 21, 2026.

Documents Required for Certificate Verification

Candidates must carry the originals and one set of photocopies of the following documents to the Help Line Centre.

TS ECET 2026 rank card and hall ticket.
Diploma or B.Sc marks memos of all years.
SSC or equivalent certificate showing date of birth.
Study certificates from Class 9 to graduation.
Transfer certificate from the last institution attended.
Income certificate for fee reimbursement claims.
Caste certificate for SC, ST, BC and EWS candidates.
Local or non-local status certificate, where applicable.
