The government of Uttar Pradesh will be collaborating with the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow to improve employment opportunities for the educated youth in the state.

The state will adopt the principles of Business Process Re-Engineering to implement the ongoing projects. It will also strengthen the single window system to expedite the process of establishing new enterprises.

To provide a single-window system for applying, disposing and real-time monitoring of the scheme, a web portal with end-to-end computerization (developed by NIC) was launched by the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) faculty of the state.

Under the scheme, the maximum loan amount for the industrial and services sectors is 2.5 million INR and 1 million INR, respectively. The margin money for proposed projects is a quarter of the loan amount.

In the aftermath of an influx of over 3.5 million migrant labourers and workers from other states due to the lockdown, the Uttar Pradesh government has been propelling employment schemes across the industrial and services sectors.

Moreover, the state is mapping the skills of the migrants so that they can get jobs inside and outside the state.
