What Happens If a Candidate Skips Reporting?

Candidates who fail to report by October 1, 2026 will lose their allotted seat. Their seat will be added to the vacancy pool for the next round. Such candidates may also face forfeiture of counselling fees as per state rules.

Why This Matters

Round 2 is a crucial stage in UP NEET UG counselling. Missing the October 1 deadline can push candidates out of the state quota race. Only vacant seats will move to the mop-up round after this cut-off.

Action Plan for Candidates

  1. Log in at upneet.gov.in and check your Round 2 allotment.
  2. Download and print the allotment letter without delay.
  3. Arrange all original documents and required photocopies.
  4. Keep the college fee ready as per the allotted institute.
  5. Report to the allotted college and complete admission by October 1, 2026.
  6. Collect the admission confirmation slip from the college office.
Keep an Eye On
