The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh (DGME UP) has released the Uttar Pradesh National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (UP NEET UG) 2026 Round 2 seat allotment result. Candidates can check their allotment status on the official portal at upneet.gov.in. Allotted candidates must complete admission at their designated college by October 1, 2026.
The Round 2 seat allotment covers MBBS and BDS seats across government, private, and minority medical and dental colleges in Uttar Pradesh. Candidates who registered and locked their choices in the Round 2 window are eligible for allotment.

How to Check UP NEET UG Round 2 Allotment Result 2026?
The Round 2 allotment status can be checked directly on the DGME UP portal. Candidates need their NEET UG 2026 roll number and password to log in.
- Visit the official portal at upneet.gov.in.
- Click on the Round 2 allotment status link on the homepage.
- Open the direct link at onallotmainCStatus.aspx.
- Enter your NEET UG 2026 roll number and other required credentials.
- View your allotted college, course, and category details on the screen.
- Download and print the allotment letter for reporting.

How to Complete Admission at the Allotted College?
Allotted candidates must physically report to their assigned college with all required documents. Admission must be completed on or before October 1, 2026.
- Carry the printed allotment letter issued through the portal.
- Submit original documents for verification at the college.
- Pay the applicable course fee to the college as per the fee structure.
- Collect the admission confirmation slip from the college office.

What Happens If a Candidate Skips Reporting?
Candidates who fail to report by October 1, 2026 will lose their allotted seat. Their seat will be added to the vacancy pool for the next round. Such candidates may also face forfeiture of counselling fees as per state rules.
Round 2 is a crucial stage in UP NEET UG counselling. Missing the October 1 deadline can push candidates out of the state quota race. Only vacant seats will move to the mop-up round after this cut-off.
