Remarks

Pros- A good place to start you career if you want placement. If you're a CSE or IT guys you will definitely love this University for its placements offers amd syllabus. You can always get into any activity you like.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Curriculum is best as its name says Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, the course and syllabus are designed by the top level doctorate degree holder with renowed name in the field. You will be taught what is needed in the future technologies and their scope. This is the reason that many world leading companies visit here for campus placements with good package compared to any other universities.

College Events

Along with studies kiit take care of students entertainment too. Whole year is packed with different kind of events with festival and fest, workshops and seminars and so on. You can take part in it anytime and also stand a chance to enter in the organising committee.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is a bit expensive compared to rest but I guess it is worth it. You just have to take pocket money for buying your toothbrush, shops and small needy things from your Dad. Rest all things are taken care of by the kiit. All the costly curriculum books are provided by campus, you don't have to worry about anything, just go to college and enjoy your class and give your best.

Campus Life

As campus is too large, It has several sports and curriculum centre accross every campus. Which contains advance technology orientated swimming pool, Gym, Snooker, basketball court, football ground, cricket practice ground, Tennis court and so on. Better visit campus website for more.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Yeah possibly kiit has the best hostel rooms for both Ac and Non-Ac compared to any colleges in India with all the facilities installed. Wifi here are 24hrs working with high-speed, I'm sure you're gonna show the screenshot of the speed of kiit-wifi to your friends studying in other colleges. You get average of 8-24 MBps speed in regular basis, that quite good right?

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes kiit always remains in touch with its alumni. Infact many big companies visit campus for placements due to its kiitian employees by looking their work and laborious activities amd creativity. So yes every seniors are helpful.

Admission

Kiitee Rank, which you have to appear for the kiitee entrance exam centre all across the India. You just have to get the good rank to enter in Cse and IT branch rest of the branch can be achieved with average rank too.

Faculty

Faculties come across India here, almost many of them hold the doctorate degree with the best possible way of teaching with without making study a mesh for you. They will be frank and helpful too for carrying you to the heights of success if they see some talent in you.

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

REVIEW OF KIIT FROM A SECOND YEAR STUDENT

Apart from KIIT I also applied for PES university, VIT. I got confirmed admission in CSE branch of these colleges but these colleges are far away from my home. So distance is one of the main factors for not choosing other colleges instead of KIIT. For taking admission in KIIT one has to appear in the KIITEE examination which is conducted in CBT mode. After the exam result will be declared within a month. Then one has to sit for counselling for choosing the branch of their choice. The cutoff score is different for all the three phases. For example in 2023, a student securing 15 percentile in KIITEE got CSE core branch but in the second phase the cutoff for CSE core raised to 75 percentile....Read More
