There are committees formed to have the opinions of the students heard to the college management and it has been very effective.
Entrance Preview
The examination through which I came was CAT 2015. I obtained 96.79%tile. Apart from these I opted for the IIMs, TAPMI, IBS, IISc, IIT Delhi. I missed the last date for IMI and MDI, so out of these options this was the best college I could get based on the rankings of college and placement which I was offered. I was not selected for IIT Delhi.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is pretty good and extensive with only downturn that you have 4 semesters in 1st year each of approx 2 months duration which makes it a little hectic.
Internships Opportunities
Approximately 40% of students get placed on first day of Internship placement week and majority get placed within the 1 week planned for summer internships. Highest stipend till now is of INR. 75000 and on an average the stipend ranges from INR 35000 to 50000.
Placement Experience
Final Placements of current batch is still due, however at least 50 world renowned companies are sure to visit the campus. The highest package for summer internship of previous year was too INR 75000.
College Events
There are a number of events organised in the college by the different communities. Some of the notable ones are : Passion which has participation from majority of IIMs, IITs, IMI- New Delhi, MDI, etc.Chakravyuh, League of Titans- Internal to college.On a quarterly basis Pizza Nite is organsied by the committee which handles mess operations.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is similar to that of notable colleges India, of approximately INR 15 Lacs for two years. It includes boarding, academics, stationary. As per my experience, one would not require any additional expenses apart from these while residing in campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am not aware of any scholarship that is provided by the college. However they do provide a loan facility with bank. The bank details are generally provided in the brochure as shared by the college.
Campus Life
I have a very high regard for the extracurricular activities organised in the college. There are frequent event organised by the committees of the college with respect to management scenarios.
Hostel Facilities
The facilities provided are awesome, they even provide AC to the boarders during summer months. The rooms are shared between 2 persons and students have the facility to decide their roommates but only at the starting of the year and cannot be changed till
Alumni/Alumna
There are frequent alumni interactions and it is organised by the Alumni committee. The senior students are also very supportive and also provide guidelines with respect to their experiences in summer internships and global competitions.
Exam Structure
On an average there are 6 subject per semester. The exam schedule is for 3 days with 2 examinations per day. In some cases when the visiting faculty is from outside India, their exams may conducted early depending on the schedule of the faculty.
