Remarks
Our college results always tops. Each year at least 2-3 of students of our college comes into university merit and they are awarded with silver or gold medal. The negative point is only that there is very less placement for ec/me/ce and en students. And they don't invite any celebrity for any college fest. All the fest are done by college societies.
Course Curriculum Overview
The courses which all are available there B. Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA. There are 7 branches available in B.Tech those are Computer science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical, Civil and Instrumentation. Exam structure is quite good. 3 internal exams are conducted by college which takes place in college itself and final exam is conducted in other college through AKTU university.
Placement Experience
Our college placement is quite good. CS/IT and MCA placement is almost 100%. From other branches students get placed too but very less as compare to Computer field. Mostly IT companies visits to our college. There is very less placement in core companies for EC/ME/CE/EN. Our college provides internship too but it doesn't provide any stipend. Rather students has to pay for that.
College Events
There are a lots of event happens. There are so many societies like TAAL, GOONJ, SI, CSI, PHONIEX, OORJA and HORIZON. Basically taal society is for those students who have a passion of dancing. And Goonj is for those who have talent in singing. Also students of this society go to other college for events even they had been in IIT's too. And they win a lots of prizes.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I think Fee structure is not much expensive. When I took admission in 2015 at that time the fee was 130350 for first year students and approx 110000 for 2nd year to 4th year students. But from 2019 the fees has been hiked upto 150000 for first year students and 130000 for 2nd year to 4th year students. For a middle class family even this much amount is unaffordable.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college doesn't provide any loan facility but yes if you are from Uttar Pradesh and you have a domicile of UP and you have your family income less than 2 lacs per annum then you are eligible for scholarship from UP government. How much scholarship you get it depends on the different factors like Category. If you are in general, OBC and minority candidate and not living in college hostel then you will get approx 55000 if you are living in college hostel then you will get 67000. For SC/ST this amount goes upto 115000. Even SC/ST candidates are allowed to deposit their college fees after getting scholarship from government.
Campus Life
Our college focuses on extracurricular activities too. Every Kind of sports takes place over there and medals are given to those who wins. If we talk about labs then there are almost new computer system in every lab and in every 2-3 year new components and few of machines are purchased for practical purposes so that students do not have any trouble.
Hostel Facilities
I haven't lived in college hostel. I have lived in a private guest which is very near to college hardly 70m walking distance. But yes the infrastructure of our college and hostel is amazing. Not any other college having this kind of infrastructure in whole NCR region. I guarantee you will fall in love with the infrastructure of our college and hostel. Classroom are also very amazing. From where every faculty can see every student and every student can see faculty.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, some of my seniors are still connected with me. They were very helpful. In my case I was in very good terms with my seniors every senior used to help me mentally, financially and in other ways. After passing out from the college after 1 year college calls to pass out students for convocation function where again all students meet up to each other and their juniors.
Admission
I got admission in this college through UPTU (Now AKTU) entrance examination. Where I secured 15000 rank. I had taken this exam in 2015 and I secured 15000 rank. And after completing the several round of counseling finally I got admission in this college.
Faculty
There are 150 plus staff available including all branches and courses. Every faculty has at least done their Masters. Even many of them are PHD holder too. Because I'm from ECE background so I would tell you about my department. In my department there are approx 50 faculty which teaches from 2nd year to 4th year students. And yes faculty focuses on delivering good quality lectures.
