It has a good environment

Positive is that u have a beautiful campus which is in dist hamirpur in himachal pradesh. But conveyance is not that much much good which are usually in city, initially u faced problems with that but after sometime u have as usual deal with it.

Chemical engineering have too much scope outside india. But in india there are psu which give decent amount of money to the chemical engineers. Exaam are not that much tough. But you have to study for that in a regular manner.

Placements and job opportunities are not that much good as compared to top iits and top nits though this nit ranking is 11-12 varying every year but yes almost every student got placement and some student get also get placed off campus which are based on his capability. No college is not providing internship.

In odd semester a culture festival is organised every year which named ''Hillffair'' whuch is usually fir 3 days and Edm night is also separate. In hillffair many cultural activities like drama, dance, art, fashion parade, singing organised by college clubs and from outside famous comedians, bands, and many other things are happen which having too much fun. And in even semester a technical festival named '' NIMBUS'' which also organised by different branches and students comes and participate and won prizes from inside and outside campus.

Fees stucture are basically available on the official Nit site, you can see from there i have given the link of it www.nith.ac.in. This college is under by central government (MHRD) though the fees createria get affect by government. As compared to other privates colleges fees is much feasible.

Different type of scholarship has been provided by government which have some creterias like cast categories , based on income, alumni funded scholarships and many other scholarships has been funded by state or central government. I am not aware that of loan facilty but i am sure it is also available.

Basically all are good, for extracurricular activities there having different clubs like, technical club, english club, dance club, dramatic club, finance club, hindi samiti, and there is one small ngo type club which is collected funds and provide education to poor peopleand give them awareness. Labs are sufficient but not that much good as compared to iits. Sports facilities are too much good almost every hostel have badminton hall and tabletennis room so that the students can enjoy and stressout in indoor games. And in almost all sports are available except swimming.

I have opted for hostel, though this colleges is established in 1986. So the hotel are good and new stuffs are there. And the mess hygiene and food quality so much good. I recommended hostel because hostel life is also have so much new experiences and memorable throughout your life. Room accommodation of 3 peples for btech in all year exept final year have single room.

Students who have passed out are so much helpful. They visit the campus almost every year to understand the junior problems and make them aware to the various opportunities they have. Alumni also provide scholarship which are based on performance in college. They also provide internship from their irrespective companies which they are working. But we have to try contact them.

I qualify the jee main with good rank under 20,000. And got admission through josaa counselling. It is online process and at last when you confirmed the seat then you have to physically available fir the admission to the campus.

Faculty are too good and supportive, but you have to be in discipline manner because they are post graduate through iits or nits or highly reputated colleges. Afterall faculty teaches us many things which are not in books but very useful in daily life problems.
