Remarks

In my college everything is very good. All the teachers, all the faculties are very good. They do everything what we need for our own betterment.Beside this the extracurricular activities are also good.So many extracurricular activities are there in my college. Beside study the teachers also help us in our extracurricular activities. They help us to learn the new lessons. And the main thing is there is no sign of ragging in this college. This is totally a ragging free campus. But the thing that is bad in my college is that there is no play ground in this college

Course Curriculum Overview

Good.very good course curriculum. Our college follows the MAKAUT's course curriculum.in our college subject wise quiz competition are held. Monthly exams are held. In every 6 months , the semester is held.

Placement Experience

I have heard about the placement and the job opportunities about our college.it is better not good.So I have to something or It will do nothing for my future.yes I have heard about the internship but I don't know anything further.

College Events

Many a events are organised here in our college. 1. Rangoli(during Kali puja) 2. Birthday of Rabindranath Tagore and other famous personalities 3. Tech fest (for the first year students) 4. Football fest (for first year students and other years respectively)

Fee Structure And Facilities

I have to give a total amount of 395000rupess in 4 years. And the amount is to be paid 8 times. But as we all know for the middle class people it's hard for them.in 8 times we have to pay at around 40 to 45 thousand in every 6 month.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am just in the first year in this college so I have to know all of this.so I need some time to know this things.I admitted in this college in Constant. I have already asked some of the faculties of our college and some of my seniors but till now I am little bit of confused

Campus Life

4.5

there are so many Extracurricular activities.and each and every activities are unique and meaningful. And about the lab all the basic Electrical, chemistry lab, engineering drawing class is also good.Sports are also held here.Every year tech fest is organized by the seniors and the college faculties.they are very good.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

I had chosen the PAYING GUEST.the college have no hostel facility or any other types of this.So I had to choose a house a little bit far from our college.I stayed there and continued the college. But there is no problem for me.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

About the alumni network , it is very good. They guided us well. And about the seniors every body is very helpful and supportive. They help us in many a way.And also help us in study and sports, and also the extracurricular activities.

Admission

I have to Give the WEST BENGAL JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION for admitted in this college. After giving this examination I had to go through the counselling process.then In the third counselling I got this college for my further study

Faculty

4.5

Very good faculties are there in my college.everybody is very helpful and energetic.they always help us.beside this studies , they help us to improved in our extracurricular.in a single sentence they all are supers.

Likes

Supportive Faculty - The professors are highly qualified, approachable and always willing to help students
Free wifi support - There are free wifi support for both student and faculty
Fee Structure - It is very affordable and low compared to other colleges in the region

Dislikes

Placement support is below average, and most studnets have to apply for off campus jobs independently, which is really pathetic in the era of ai where getting a job as a fresher is so difficult
There is no dedicated support or placment cell initiative to help studnets land meaningful summer internships or any kind of internships

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th semester. For placement drives, we have to visit the main campus, Techno Main Salt Lake (TMSL). Since students from other Techno India campuses and branches also participate, the competition is extremely high. In the 2025–2026 academic year, fewer companies visited. Only two companies, Dronahost and WishCare, visited our specific campus directly. The remaining drives—mostly service-based companies like TCS and EY, along with a few startups—were conducted at the main campus. The remaining drives mostly service based companies like TCS, EY etc and quite a few startups has visited to main campus. The package they offered mostly in between 3.5lpa - 6 lpa. Furthermore the selection process of those startups is quite rigorous often consisting of upto 5 rounds of interview, two technical rounds with two technical interviews, and HR round My plans after getting the degree is either pursue an MBA or preparing for govt jobs

Campus life: Hype vs Truth

Likes

The discipline is followed very strictly. Also you have access to library which is good, teachers are helpful and no ragging policy which is strictly followed and has a decent environment.
Thery conduct seminars which encourages students. Many faculty members are knowledgeable experienced in their respective subjects and helpful willing to solve doubts beyond the classroom also.
The college has decent infrastucture including classrooms, labs and library .

Dislikes

While the curriculum is decent ,it lacks sufficeint practical implementation.More hands on projects, real world application and industry exposure would improve learning significantly.
Campus life can sometimes fell limited in terms of active student interaction.Opportunites for clubs, networking and collaborative activities could be improved.
The college comes under St tHomas School so the campus is not great it is compact and has a canteen.

Placement Experience:

I heard it from seniors that before lockdown it was pretty decent but after lockdown the company visits are not that much comapred to before lockdown.Cognizent, Accenture, Mindtree, PQ360 which is a startup company of our senior alumni etc. visits.

Labs are not well maintained the machines are very slow

In case of my couse everything is coverd but it would have been much better of they focus on practicals more rather than theory. If they make us aware of all the new technologies that are used in the industry.

Classrooms are well equipped and are spacious.
There are many fun events that happen in the college

Dislikes

The campus area is too small. The library is not good
The societies are fully controlled by students so huge partiality goes on.
Some of the teachers are mean and are not good.

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements.
