Genuine fun bit costly.

Management of the university is good however there have been cases where they are more concerned about the NRI students & are slightly inclined towards them the courses, Infasture, faculty which they have is upto mark university management system an onlin

I took JET (Joint Entrance Test) to get into this field my rank was 1700 approx & there was online counselling for this however after my batch LPU broke their tie-up with PTU & now students can directly get admission as per the marks scored in 12th \ 10th i opted for this as it was an easier way to get into engineering rather then coming through AIEEE or JEE.

Diploma Electronics & communication it was well designed where the first two semesters had the basics of engineering (PCM) along with one lab it also had some basic workshops such as metallurgy, Carpentry, Sheet metal etc the courses changed towards more specialization in third & fourth sem such as Circuits Design, Consumer Electronics, Digital labs given where C language, PCB DesignLast 2 sem had more specialized courses such as Optical Fibers, Antenna, Signal transmission etc.

There was no internship option available for my course but yes companies came for placements internship was offered to MBA & B.Tech students & stipend offered was 5000.

For engineering many companies came few big names were TCS, Ashok Leyland, L & T, Wipro & packages offered for the B.tech guys was 4 Lacs per annum which was pretty average for diploma holders Wipro came up with a Learn & Earn module in which further study was sponsored by them.

Many events used to happen in the campus an anual college fest named 'Utsav' used to be amazing which continued for 3 days & it was full fun apart from it Unity in Diversity was also an annual event where every department represented different states of India apart from this many movie promotional events such as Rockstar, Ghanchakkar etc happened along with many Punjabi movies coke studio & Euphoria also performed live in the campus.

Comparatively the fee structure is on the higher side as it is privately owned university but there is a test named NEST which can be given & depending upon that fee is waived off but you need to maintain the required percentage through out the course so that scholarship benefits can be given.

The University offers a scholarship scheme to top students acc to their academics there are percentage slabs acc to which scholarship or fee waiver is given but you need to maintain the required percentage through out the course so that scholarship benefits can be given.

There was football & cricket ground many small badminton\ tennis courts along with basket ball courts sports week also used to happen every year & inter-department competitions were also held you can find students from all over the world studying there & involving to the core & having fun LPU is strictly against ragging & its is very effective.

Hostel rooms where OK there were not that great but still good enough to stay there on triple sharing basis annual rental for hostel was about 70000 food was manageable & many a times disgusting only few days were there when we termed it as tasty PG's nea

Seniors were helpful where ever they were required they also helped out for placements & suggested which companies we should opt for in events & Parties also they were engaged & helped to make it fun.

Exams were scheduled twice in each semester mid Term & End Term so in total there were 4 exams session along with practical lab exams the level was above average & scoring was not that easy but still manageable.

The faculty of the college is young knowledgeable & very helpful they are always there whenever you need then, In campus or outside it doesn't matter full marks to them.
