My college is not good because its situted in a village its so far from the market .

(AIEEE) we choose the course because my parents wants his son becomes a engineer so i can choose this course because i can't see my parents unhappy .

The structure of this course is good because their is good future in this .

Internships Opportunities

There are so many company enter in my college all the students are happy for this so many student are selected but the companies not provided good stipend. E.g mahindra -8k to 10k hero 7k to 8k.

I am fresher i am studying in mechanical engineer my sem is 7th so i can not placed in any company.

Fees and Financial Aid

No good scholarship and no loans are available buy the college.

Hostel Facilities

I don't known about hostel nd hostel room because i stay in pg in mohali its rent is 3500 .

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

No I have not any link with my college seniors.

The faculty is good to teach that course because he is very good knowledge on his subject.

An honest look at campus

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro,cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed.The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

SLIET longowal has well structured curriculum as per new education policy with well structured labs. to prepare for real world, college provide funds for startup and also motivate students to gain industry exposure. Many improvements can be done in curriculum like integration of cutting edge technologies, smart board, digital labs. There are three exams per semester two minors which take place in month of august and september and major or end sem exam in month of october, the timing of exam was from 1 pm to 4 pm. the difficulty level of exam is moderate

Placements in lovely professional university is decent and dont know much about it as i am in 1st year only but there were mandatory Placement classes for all which you need to select in 1st year only for which you need to pay extra 20k for the classes.

Good staff are very nice and supportive nature. There are not any faculty problem. Functions are organized in a very large scale which is very good. Ragging are strictly banned in college which is very good for fresher students. BAD: lack of equipment and machines in labs. Lack of practical knowledge for students.
