Everything is fine here but they give us too much freedom. I don't like that. Otherwise it is the best college in Eastern India. Free to learn everything. If you need anything KIIT will definitely help you.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is same as Indian education system, mostly theoretical. But if you found interest then the course will be best for you. But most of us didn't get any interest except 3-4 subject. Now, I come to exam pattern. There are 2 semester in an academic year. In each semester there are 1 mid-sem(20/30) and one end-sem(50). and rest of marks depends upon extra curriculum like engineer's enemy(Assignment), PPT, Project etc.
Placement Experience
We are proud that In this 2021 academic year our branch ETC got 100% placement, yes you read it correct. There were 678 student in only ETC and 675 students got placement with 4.5 L/year. And from the overall university it is a tremendous placement in this year. Highest package from Computer Science got 31 L/year by Adobe.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees are little bit high. Its almost 16 Lakhs in 4 years. As it is a private institute the fees are little bit high than other. In each semester you have to pay 2 lakhs approx.
Fees and Financial Aid
The top 3 students from every branch gets a scholarship of 25 k. Otherwise they gave internship opportunity. At the 1st day there are various bank like SBI, ICICI, HDFC come. You can take loan from them or from your home branch.
Campus Life
KIIT is the best place to express myself. There are lot of societies like dance music, code, robotics. Here total 32 playground are open for us and for every hostel there is a gym with trainer. We can express our talent from here like if I want to start businesses then they help us. Everything is here but you have to choose wisely.
Alumni/Alumna
Totally ragging free campus. Seniors are very helpful if you need help. No restriction for couples. You can learn from everything. As i'm a senior I helped many student in academic and non academic. There is an alumni cell called K-konnect who shared there experiences with us.
Admission
In the month of November-December the registration form was open. There is no registration fee. Its completely free. Then we have to choose the exam center and date. In the month of January the exam was processed. After 14 days the result was came and as per rank they call for Counselling. You can choose branch as per your rank and availability. In that day you have to pay 10k for registration and home appliances. After 2 weeks we came to college and a new journey was start.
Faculty
Most of the faculties are IITian or NITian. Some of teachers are exceptionally well who help us to understand what is the actual meaning of engineering. They take care about your academic an non-academic. In KIIT there is a sttudent-mentor program. A group of student get one individual mentor who help them in academic an non-academic process.
