Remarks
Our college is quite versatile in many ways and there are some drawbacks too but they are negligible too. Our college provides various activities or competition to the students and helps the students to get prizes so that it can get glory to the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Basically our course curriculum is quite outdated we need to include latest trends in it for better engineering graduates. This can be done in various ways by changing the educational pattern or including the latest trends in the syllabus or by the teachers who can teach us the latest trends.
Placement Experience
Placements in our college are quite well as this is a new college there are less number of companies visiting but every year we see many companies visiting the campus for placement.We are being trained for the placement frim the first year itself which is a great step by the college. Yes our college provides internship for some particular branches like computer science and engineering and information science and engineering and electronic and communication engineering. So the overall experience is quite good in this college.
College Events
There are various events celebrated in this college like there is freshers party for the first year students. There is branch entry for different branches which is conducted branch wise for the 2nd year students. There is Onam celebration in the college. The main event of the college is the college fest which is known as sentia. And to end with we have a farewell party for the outgoing batch which is the final year students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure is not quite expensive as any other colleges as this is under another University which is the VTU, Belgaum and as it has been registered to the K-CET for admission of students. They can only take the fees which is declared by the government so it is quite affordable price.
Fees and Financial Aid
Some of the scholarship availed by the college are VidhyaSarathi, VidyaSiri Epass, many such scholarship. College doesn't provide any loan facility but gives the neccarry documents required for the documentation for the loan.
Campus Life
College has various lab for different branches and labs for different sections so that the students can have the practical knowledge about the subject. College also takes part in the sports and cultural activities happening in the college or outside the college.
Alumni/Alumna
I know very few seniors or the alumni association member of the college and they all are helpful to us as they have entered the industries of their feild and have gained experience about their work. They visit the college frequently and help is in our projects and academics as well.
Admission
I got admission in this college through K-CET that is common entrance exam which is a exam conducted by the Karnataka state government for the students of Karnataka to get into an engineering college. Basically we have to register for the exam and we get a centre nearby district and we have to attempt the question out of 180 and based on this we get a CET ranking after this we have concilling process after which we can get into a college of our choice if the college have the seats remaining.
Faculty
Our college is very good on the basis of infrastructure and the technological point of view. They take good care of the students and help us get placed in the campus placement which is a good initiative by the college our faculty also helps to think inovative and also help in our projects.
