Remarks
Positive points are many that it is the first engineering government college in Karnataka and the fees will be less and can be helpful for poor students and mainly there is no management quota seats in our college and coming to negative side placements should increase for the core branches like Civil.
Course Curriculum Overview
Civil Engineering in our college is the duration of 4 years with 8 semesters in which overall we study 60+ subjects and the exam is also semester wise with internals 25 marks and exam with 100 marks. And our college belongs to the Bangalore University.
Placement Experience
Placements are good enough for all branches except Civil Engineering branch is less compared to other branches so they should concentrate on core branches with IT and CS branches that may be helpful for other branches like civil and architecture
College Events
Events are like college days and fest's as all know that every college celebrated in our college we celebrated mainly inspiron civista and so on we also involved in the social service collaboratives like RSS and many more charitable institutes
Fee Structure And Facilities
Our college is purely government college it collects only the entrance board fees that is 18000 INR year plus college fees 10000? as the fees every year compared to other colleges that is private and deemed our college is friendly in fees that can be helpful for poor and needy students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship will be given by the government of Karnataka every year we are getting 16k every year and selected people will be given 10k every year from the college side depending upon the reservation and merit of the students.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are like sports and cultural activities are supported from our college and selected students are having the opportunity to play sports in the university level and also many quiz's in the college and will be encouraged to reach their goals in the extracurricular activities.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network for our college and also for every colleges it will be helpful and their network will be providing placement opportunities and they can refer the students who are not placed in the college. In our college Alumni association is providing scholarship for the students who are in poor condition.
Admission
By clearing the entrance exam called CET in our state and doing counselling selected the college and got the seat in the first list as well and opted the civil engineering course and it is a pure government college with good and supporting faculty.
Faculty
Faculty are well trained talking about the the senior lectures but as compare to now it is getting underrated due to negligence of the management because it is the only engineering govt college built during the British time by sir M Vishveshvariah I think may be they can do better now.
