Remarks

After 4 years of college, there is little negative that I can point out. Library facilities can still be improved and the non teaching staff are required to be trained enough to do their jobs. Everything else is so good.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum is same for all the first years independent of their branch. We learn common subjects related to our 12th class in our first year to grind our basics. Further, a taste of all the branches is known. Exam structure is based on relative performance. We are continuously evaluated through out the semester with minors of 10 marks each, Mid semester of 30 marks and End semester of 50 marks adding to 100 marks. We follow Normal distribution for grade allocation.

Placement Experience

5

Companies visit our college during our 3rd year for internship and during our 4th year for placements. Almost all the students in our college get placed. Stipends ranging from 15000 to 150000 are offered to students depending on their branch. Computer science students are paid high. I had my internship at Ultratech cements during my 3rd year where I was exposed to the outside world and learnt how the Industry works in real. I was able to coordinate my basics with it's functionality. I was paid a stipend of 15000.

College Events

5

We have technical fest named TECHNOZION that happens in the winter. We also have a summer fest named SPRINGSPREE which is for entertainment purpose. We have a sports fest named AYODHAN to encourage all the sportsmen in our country. To encourage budding entrepreneurs, we have recently started E-SUMMIT, an entrepreneural fest. We also have Youth fest during Swami Vivekananda's Jayanthi to encourage students to take his Noble path.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Students whose parents earn less than 1 LPA are exempted from paying fee. They're only expected to pay Mess fee and other fee of Rs 4200. Students whose parents earn between 1-5 LPA are exempted 2/3rd of the fee. Students whose parents earn above 5 LPA are required to pay a tuition fee of 66,500 per semester which is expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

Students are offered different merit scholarships based on their performance. 24 students from first year are offered merit scholarship who are given fee exemption for that year. From second year, students merit is based on their branch. 10 students from 8 branches each are given Merit scholarship. Apart from this, NSP and FFE scholarship is given to students with exceptional 12th score.

Campus Life

4.5

NIT Warangal ranks high in Lab infrastructure. We've all the set-up with high costly equipment provided for students to know the practical usage and relate to the theory taught. We've a stadium, Gymnasium, Tennis and Volleyball court, Indoor badminton court and support all indoor games in the hostel. A student is given full freedom to choose any sport and train accordingly.

Alumni/Alumna

We've strong Alumni network connected through NITWAA website where they interact with us personally. Alumni visit our college frequently to share their outside experiences and also help students develop their skills. Senior students are in constant touch with us to guide us in placements and internships.

Admission

Secured a rank of 4557 in JEE Mains 2016. This exam is generally taken after 12th class. 12th marks were also given priority along with JEE Mains score to determine the rank. Admission process was very simple. Seat allocation was given on the basis of ranks secured by students. We have filled our choices in JOSAA and we had the options to confirm or slide accordingly after each round of allocation. There were 5 rounds in total where I got my preferred branch in NIT Warangal in 4th round.

Faculty

5

One reason that NIT WARANGAL stands out is due to the faculty who are rich in knowledge and are diverse in their research areas. They're very friendly and always work for the betterment of a student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course is relevant because we are not just studying theory all the time. Along with regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects and problem solving which actually feels useful. It feels like the course is designed to help us build skills that we will need later not just clear semester exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

Before joining I thought it would be like any other engineering college where we just study for exams. But after coming here, I felt it's a bit different. We do have theory classes, but there are also coding sessions, projects and assignments almost every week. Sometimes it gets a little hectic but I think it's actually helping us learn better. The syllabus feels relevant.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course has been a nice mix of theory and practical work. We don't just sit through lectures all day there are coding sessions, projects, assignments, and hands on activities that make the subjects easier to understand. It feels like you are learning skills that you'll use later. One thing I noticed after joining is that the classes don't feel the same every day. Some days are regular lectures while on others we are working on coding problems, assignments or small projects. That change keeps things interesting.

Placement Experience:

I think IN-campus Placements are the best thing that this college may offer. This is one of the top college in Telangana so almost every top company gives a chance to this college companies like Cisco, Insfosys, TCS, Cognizent, Accenture and many more. The highest package is 34LPA last year 2024, and the average is 7LPA i think.I think almost 60 to 70 percentage of people get place in the companies.I plan to get place in the top most comnmpany in the Telanagana after getting degree.
