Remarks

One negative about college is that it is situated at the middle of lake. So, mostly during monsoon times college premises get flooded by water. Positive is that it is in Chennai and students get a overview of the outer world. College usually a little bit strict.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The whole course is little bit outdated with all due respect. They are yet to catch up with new technology. They conduct a monthly exams, scoring good marks is useful as it reflects in internal marks of semester.

Placement Experience

2.5

When it comes to placement, IT & logistics companies usually come and conduct capus interviews. Couple of core company visit the campus for selection of candidates, but they hardly select any candidates and numbers are usually low. Students has to find internship, if he wants to join. College usually don't help you in that matter.

College Events

2

Some of the events which I attended are fresher's day, the day for new students where new students conduct a grant celebration to welcome themselves. I have attended the sports day, it's usually huge task as they conduct lots of games before sports day. And cultural day, in my last two year they didn't conduct cultural day due to some issue.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is feasible, for counseling students like me who came through merit has to pay around 55,000 per year or for two semesters. They are always some other cost like record books, exam fees, sports fee which might make upto another 15,000.

Fees and Financial Aid

I availed loan from the bank. They usually provide a loan upto 7.5 lakhs without collateral in PSU banks. There are scholarship for SC/ST students which they can avail. College doesn't help you to get a loan, it's an individual responsibility to get a loan if he/ she needed.

Campus Life

2.5

Labs has some modern equipment, especially in AERONAUTICAL Department with hypersonic compressor and wind tunnel to do testing and experiment. There are two aircraft LaserJet and Cessna are standing there. They allow you to play sports after the college time till 6:30. There is a small gym in the college which students can use after college with a yearly subscription.

Hostel Facilities

2

I opted for hostel in my first three year of stay in Chennai. The rooms are pretty good and standard rooms. The cleaning staffs make sure that the rooms are clean. Only problem I faced at the hostel is food. Usually every one become tired after eating the same hostel food.

Alumni/Alumna

There is very little contact with current faculties and alumni. Usually they contact us through the WhatsApp group. They don't conduct alumni meets. Most of the college news are shared on the WhatsApp group of alumni, like job opening.

Admission

I got admission to this college by ANNA university counseling, where all students attend counseling to get admission to the best college affiliated to Anna University by merit list. I applied for the counseling after I got my 12th result, they gave me date and time for counseling in Chennai. I went there the process was smooth.

Faculty

3

Faculty of college as well as Aeronautical department are well educated and experienced in the field. They pass a great deal of knowledge to the students. During my college time most of the college staffs had done there masters and PHd From IIT or being a gold medalist in there respective university.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming. However, more practical projects, industry-based training, internships, and real-world applications would help students become better prepared for careers and further studies.
