Positives are library,labs,hostel,open and closed auditoriums which are state of the art buildings,environment,peaceful surroundings,beautiful view of the seven hills from hostels.Negatives are faculty,academic curriculum,placements in which the college should improve quality
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is old and not revised according to latest trends.Too heavy and vast syllabus.Too many unnecessary subjects included.And also they won't issue textbooks for that.We should buy all the prescribed books outside.
Placement Experience
Internship chances are less.There won't be any exposure to opportunities outside and there are no good tie ups as it is an autonomous university.Placements are below average and only software companies recruitment happens that too with a meagre salary packages.
College Events
There will be department fests every year and also the main highlight is the cultural fest called "Rhapsody" conducted every year, which goes on for 3 days.There will be speaker sessions on a regular basis by some eminent personalities.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is very economical and the facilites like hostel,mess,library are decent with lush green environment all around.The location of the college and hostels is also very beautiful.The campus is close to nature and has many trees but students are allowed to have motorcycles unlike IITs.
Fees and Financial Aid
Loan is not required as the fee is very economical for all the students and the college also provides scholarships for weaker section of students on submitting proofs of caste certificate and income certificate of their family.
Campus Life
Labs are very old and has almost all the equipment but some are rusty.Computer labs are good with all the facilities but no proper faculty to teach programming and other latest technology.Viva is conducted well by calling faculty from outside.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel fee comes around 3000 every month including food,room rent and other expenses.On every special occasion mess serves great food.You can opt for veg/non veg food and the cost does not vary much.For non veg we get two omelettes daily except on Saturday, and Sunday afternoon we get biriyani and chicken.
Alumni/Alumna
The older alumni are in great positions now and most of them are settled abroad or working in respectable positions.They provide scholarships for the toppers every year and also sponsor some of the equipment of sports and labs occasionally.
Admission
I wrote EAMCET and scored a rank of 6682 and I put my preferences.Then I was allocated this college with CSE branch.After that I confirmed my seat and verified my documents in a center allotted by the EAMCET board.
Faculty
There are many junior faculty who have no knowledge about the subject and also don't try to learn.Senior professors won't take regular classes even though they are good.The marking system is very tedious and results are too delayed.
