Remarks
as a whole i would consider extracurricular activities, infrastructure, labs, placement as the positives about the college and hostel facilities, faculty members as the negatives about the college. overall if u take admission in this college you are certainly going to enjoy your college life to the fullest .
Course Curriculum Overview
Manav rachna university was formerly known as manav rachna college of engineering and followed syllabus of MDU. but now it is not related to MDU anymore. But still the curriculum followed is somewhat similar to that of MDU curriculum with some minor changes. some specialities were included as optional for the students . like cloud computing, security etc.
Internships Opportunities
yes, my college provide Internship. but it is not like typical internship where u do some work for the organization and get paid. it is more of a summer internship in which students were taught some different topics apart from the course syllabus for a period of 1 month and at the end of which they have to submit a project of that. so there is basically no stipend related internship it is more of a training type internship.
Placement Experience
the placement record of the college has been very very good when it was related to MDU. the placement record was almost 90% then. but now when it is not related -to MDU the record has came down a bit but still posses a good record. it is upto 80-83% now. all the big IT companies like HCL, HP, INFOSYS, IBM, TCS come here for the placement of students and every year took a lot of students with them(i.e give them job) with a good package for a fresher.
College Events
many events or infact i should say all the events and festivals are celebrated in the college thouroghly . but the most grandest of them all is the annual fest or RESERRUCTION. many big celebrities like farhan akhtar, benny dayal, nucleya band, nikhil chinappa came to college for the fest. it is a three day event with lots of events and a whole lot of fun for the college students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
the fees structure i should say is between feasible and expensive. the fees 1 year i.e two semester of b.tech is 1.85k . but if you have scored more than 80% in 12th you can get 25% of scholorship on tution fees. and 50% off if u score 85% + in 12th and even 100% off the tution fees if u got 90% + in 12th board exams.

Campus Life
the sports and other extra curricular facilities are good in the college. there is aproper and well maintained cricket ground, football ground, indoor arena for badminton,table tennis,carrom,pool,snooker etc. also there is a auditorium for dance and music activities. overall the extracurricular activities is what in which this college shines the most.
Hostel Facilities
hostel facility is not so good in this college. the cleanliness is not maintained. the rooms are very small. there is not much seccurity for the studnets. cameras are installed in the hall but they do not work so there is always a threat of something precious stoles. and also the mess food is not tasty neither hygenic.
Alumni/Alumna
there is not much of a alumni network in this college. the passed out studnets are not often invited to interact with the students. the college has only fixed 7-8 alumni students which they invite always repeatedly for the alumni talks sessions held after every 5-6 months. and the sessions are of only 10-15 minutes.
Exam Structure
the exam structure is divided into three parts in one semester. T1, T2 nad T3. T3 is the main final end semester exam and covers 60% of the final grade weightage. T1 and T2 covers 20% each. there are also PT1, PT2, and PT3 which stands for practical exams. their score weightage is included in that of the written exams.
Admission
i got admission in the college through merit list. as i got 85.4% in 12th board i was selected immediately for the cse branch in b.tech. in the first week of my joining the college, there was a proficiency test conducted to divide the students according to their skills in different sections so that more focus can be given to somewhat weaker students to be job ready in the future.
Faculty
the most of the faculty of the college is very good. they are full of knowledge and help students with their problems in any matter and help students to develop their skills. but a few of the faculty members are not so good. they leave students on their own to cover the syllabus and just sit ideally in the classroom and some of them do not let students pursue any other skill they are intersted in apart from the college syllabus. but overall i would give 4 out of 5 to the faculty.
