Remarks

Probably best college for mechanical engineering, don't know about other course. The big problem in my college is that, it has poor infrastructure and has fee structure more than feasible. Good thing is that it has a very good placement record, a very goo

Entrance Preview

I scored 1123 out of 1200 in my SSLC examination which includes scores such as maths- 192/200, physics- 190/200, chemistry- 194/200. The cutoff I got was 192.75. I decided to go for anna university counselling. Mechanical engineering was only my choice and so I looked for a good college for mechanical engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is not bad. But still can improve a lot. The materials for this course can improve a lot. Applications should be concentrated in the materials. Practical knowledge should be brought. Practical classes should be more in number. Not only my college face this problem, but every college under anna university face this problem.

Internships Opportunities

As I am currently studying my 2nd year, I didn't attend any internships, but they sent us for many company visits which gave is great experience. There are many companies coming to my college such as WIPRO, TCS, FLIPKART,AMAZON etc.

Placement Experience

4.5

I m studying in 2nd year so I haven't experienced such things. But have heard about it by seniors and faculties. In my college, the placement percentage is 78%, bagging the first place in chennai.

College Events

3.5

My college symposiums are one of the best. They are cool with many interesting events. Every department held symposium, where all college students participate. Cultural day is also being conducted every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Tuition fee is something nearly 60k which is feasible, but bus fees is very expensive which is about 25k. They have a very poor infrastructure still requesting us to pay nearly 90k including bus fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

When we bag prices in other colleges, my college appreciates it and gives the same amount of money which other colleges gave. They also give good scholarships for rank holders. I don't know about loan availability.

Campus Life

2.5

All are good. They conduct extracurricular activities often and send us to every competitions. All rules and praises are equal to boys and girls. There are some rules in my college which depicts that boys and girls should not talk. I wish that they will remove this rule as soon as possible.

Exam Structure

Yes, frequently they keep exams and analyse the students and take special care of them. We have a very large library and we'll equipped labs.

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming. However, more practical projects, industry-based training, internships, and real-world applications would help students become better prepared for careers and further studies.
