Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course Curriculum in the college was actually good we had around eight subject every semester we studied and whole course was very hectic and had vast range of learning, but it was very difficult for the students below average.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, their were stipend provided for students, but only for top 3 toppers in each branch. It was more like prize instead of stipend. Apart from this no other stipend policy, but there were some other co-curricular activity involvements.

Placement Experience

4.5

Job Placement and Job Opportunities were great in the college, there was mainly four phases of Placement, which starts from Day zero, day one, day two and day three. And company priority was in same order, Top companies with higher CTC used to came on Day zero respectively.

College Events

4.5

There were so many event we celebrated in college, there is one mega event in college which we used to call KIIT Fest. Normally celebrity used to come and perform in college campus. Apart from this there were many Tech fest, and Cultural fest,l which normally conducted by college society like RON.

Fee Structure And Facilities

This was something which I never wanted to discuss. Fees structure is specially designed for only rich people, however while joining I was not aware of that and we struggled alot financially during the duration of my course. It was 2.6 lac per year that time and now it is 5 lac per year

Fees and Financial Aid

No loan or scholarship was offer by my college, it was self deemed college. And we had to pay full payment by ourselves. but there one stipend or you can say prize for top three topers of every college and the amount was 30k, 15K and 10K respectively

Campus Life

4.5

The college was full of extracurricular activities, but very less sports activities. Every week had some function or something to do, and that in every department (Branch wise). Apart from this we had a Music Band and Dramatic society as well.

Hostel Facilities

4

As I already mentioned that I have paid very heavy amount for college fees, and that includes hostel fees too, so without any doubt it has to be mesmerizing, but it was not, we three people used to share a medium sized room, with one cupboard, one chair and one table and one bed for all. During the time of enrollment we were given 2 bedsheets, one pillow and matrrices and a blanket by college. bedsheets were given every year and pillow after 2 years.

Exam Structure

Exam structure in my college was good, we used to give three exams every semester, one was semi mid term and one mid term and one end sem. Apart from this there was always weekly assessment for every subject.

Admission

I enrolled myself for College entrance exam which was free of cost and after got Rank I was invited for counseling where we had to pay registration fees of 50K and get the seat booked, after one month we were called for admission and start the class as B.tech students.

Faculty

2

Faculty was okay in my opinion, we mostly had to learn by ourselves, however we were provided WIFI for 16 hours daily with good speed, but Faculty was not up to the mark as per college reputation. I believe the reputation was because of students in there as 70% of them were IIT aspirant, so they all already good in acedamy.

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs
