Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum for each branch is different which consists of all the important subjects and topics of today's scenario. It is very much relevant and research-driven and fair. Students indulge in project-based learning where they work with industry mentors for a project, And the exam structure mostly consists of weekly and quarterly tests.

Placement Experience

4

The college has a very proficient placement cell that has been playing a key role in the placements of students in companies like Deloitte, TCS, Gemini solutions and many more. The students have been placed in these companies with a sophisticated salary package in hand. The cell even conducts a session with all year students to make them familiar with the job-related fields and aspects.

College Events

3.5

The events such as Momentum, fiesta and various others provide the students with the best of the platforms to discover and present their talents. Scholarships are given to the deserving ones. The connectivity is good. And there are innumerable activities going on in college every day. We have multiple societies that work on different levels, be it local, national and international.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure involves the submission of the required amount on a 6-month basis, i.e before a semester starts. The fees amount for the course that I am studying is for about 1 Lakh and above per semester and keeps on increasing a certain amount each semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I haven't opted for any scholarship or education loan since there has been no need yet to avail such financial help.

Campus Life

3.5

NCU is a safe and student-friendly campus. The fraternity and students alike are working towards making the campus a solution-oriented zone. We highly believe in eco-friendliness, and the college has installed solar panels to cut down on our electricity consumption to give back to our environment.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, the alumni network is very wide and they also connect with the institution or vice versa to conduct sessions on any course-related topic or other to guide the students.

Admission

I got admission through the grades I acquired in 12th standard. Since it was above 85% I did not have to appear for any entrance test. The university also looks at your Jee Mains score. The overall score and the calculation criteria of the college to get admission is all mentioned on its website.

Faculty

4

All the faculty is very supportive and polite. The explanation of the course topics is broken down into simple yet efficient lectures and taught. They use presentation, videos and any other information available to teach the student all that they need to know.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is quite relevant and covers the important basics of Biotechnology. We get both theory and practical classes which helps in understanding the subjects better. Exams are usually moderate. I think more industry based projects and practical exposure can make the course even better. Overall, I am satisfied with the curriculum.

Placements are not good in my college. Only few companies are recruiting through on campus like virtusa, tcs etc. average package is 3-4 lakhs and maximum package is 9 lakhs. From 4th year students are eligible for on campus placement. Only 30-40% of students get placed. I am thinking to give gate exam for better opportunity.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.

Remarks:

Don't join the college as they doesn't care about your career Faculty is bad and also doesn't have minimum experience and qualifications Teachers will change every semester or even teachers can leave the job in mid semester. If want a good career then don't go for it
