A University worth giving a try

The college takes regular feedback from us to improve things. The management is wise enough to be proactive in every field rather than being reactive. The college has various subcommittees which work regularly for making the university better, each and every suggestion for the betterment is taken into consideration and mostly is worked upon be it infrastructure, food, events, hygiene, security, education.

The course curriculum is well defined as per the rules. We have exams twice in a semester and have enough time for preparation. There are lab sessions for every subject and practical exams are also taken. The marking system is transparent and absolutely fair. We are also taught subjects from other fields such as management etc in electives which provide for holistic development.

The college has a very proficient placement cell that has been playing a key role in the placements of students in companies like Deloitte, TCS, Gemini solutions and many more. The students have been placed in these companies with a sophisticated salary package in hand. The cell even conducts a session with all year students to make them familiar with the job-related fields and aspects. Also, this cell helps students for an internship within the college so as they can excel their basic skills.

The best thing I find about this college is the events celebrated here, covering the major events we have a 3-day cultural fest named momentum and technical event TEDx apart from that there are various small events covered by professional societies which make this place a healthy competition place and provides an opportunity for holistic development for everyone.

2,32,000 INR excluding cab services. There are two instalments, parents can submit all yearly amount at a time or semester by semester. The fee submission can be done via an online platform, through checks or cash. The fee may differ from each other based on services we avail like hostel also it's different for schools like SOET, SOM, SOL.

No, I have not opted for any scholarship but in our university one can avail it by scoring CGPA 9.5 and above.

70:30 boys and girls ratio is the ratio we usually see but here is it 50:50. The crowd is good. Many societies are there for students to explore and show their creativity. Regular activities, workshops, events take place for students. Debates societies, robotics clubs are there. Students compete and win international hackathons and competitions.

Alumni come frequently and mentor their juniors by giving them success mantras. There are workshops carried out by our ALUMNUS. We have PPI (pre-placement interviews) which are conducted by our Alumnus for the student's growth and give us an overview of what is coming ahead.

Basically I was late in taking admission to this college as I was trying somewhere else but the admin staff and controller of records were too nice to give a chance to apply here as I was shortlisted in the first list for BTech in computer science, I was asked to meet to controller of records with all the valid documents and fee for the first semester the next day I requested the university for admission.

The teachers are very helpful, and knowledgeable. The clarification of doubts, explanation of various topics is done very proficiently. The college provides students with various industry visits in their induction program week and also after that. Apart from all these faculties are very keen to help students in there personal problems like attendance etc, also faculties here encourage students to focus on co-curricular activities with studies and helps in projects and research papers.
