Remarks
The positives of the college are that the placement drive is very good and almost 90 percent of the students get a good job,the negative part is that we do not have good extra curricular activities,and that examination fee is charged every semester
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum in my opinion is very good and effective,the best thing about the curriculum is that it covers every area of expertise required in learning computer science and engineering, hence it can be deduced as satisfactory
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunities in the college are very high, almost entire of the College students get good jobs and get placed. The placement drive is one of the biggest in the country, 90% of the cse students got placed in MNCs like Infosys, TCS, CTS and Wipro. Even google and Amazon offered jobs to some students.
College Events
There are multiple events taking place in the college,there are a lot of workshops organised by students and by college,we can take part in various events. There are two main cultural fest organised by the college, Rubaroo and innovate,also there are sports events,the main sport event organised is khel.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is a bit expensive,the tuition fee is high as compared to other engineering colleges,both private and government. The tuition fee for the 2017-2021 batch was two lakhs per annum,the fee is high but it is value for money.
Fees and Financial Aid
The only scholarship provided by the college is on the basis of merit or by your board percentage,to continue getting this scholarship the student needs to maintain a very healthy CGPA throughout the academic years.
Campus Life
The extra curricular activities are not up to the mark,they are very average as compared to some other top colleges of the country,the labs are very good and the sport facility are only good for cricket,other sports are not well covered.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is very helpful,the senior students are mostly connected through social media platforms and sometimes get together are organised by the college and we can interact with our seniors over there. Senior students are very helpful and they provide with all the help possible.
Admission
You have to give a joint entrance examination which is conducted by the SRM Institute. The examination is of 3 hours and there is only one round. It is conducted on several pre given dates across the country
Faculty
The faculty is very well qualified and most of them have PhDs and are highly educated and are alumini of IITs and NITs ,the faculty is very hard working and their work is highly commendable, faculty in every branch is very good.
