Remarks

Positive remarks: Very good at academics. Teachers are very friendly. Very good at sports. Negative remarks: Average food quality. Little strict. Showing partiality to toppers. Not giving OD (On Duty) to Avery students.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

My course curriculum is B.E CSE. My department deals with technology of computers. There is another department called IT (Information and Technology) they also have almost the same subjects but differ anyhow at the end. In our curriculum we have 8 semesters (4 years). Each year we will be having 6 subjects or 5 excluding the Laboratory. We will be having Lab each year (2-4). Exam structure: Our college concentrates more on academics and hence, we will have many test when 1 unit of portion is completed for each subject. We have internal exam, modal, cycle test and every exam counts.

Placement Experience

4

As far as placements are concerned, my college is good at it. But not the best I would say because they are only best at quite a few departments. Internship is not provided by our college. It may only be provided for 2-3 students who are very much talented. I don't know about stipend details.

College Events

3.5

Every year my college will be having Symposium for each department and it would be fabulous. Each department will show their rage. And also we have culturals every year which will be very grand, where parents are welcomed to watch the program.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As far as fees structure is concerned it is definitely expensive. Every engineering colleges are expensive. The only thing to make sure that the money we pay is worth it ? Or not ? I think it is 50 50 if u focus on your goal and be keen towards achieving success then it is useful indeed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, they do give scholarship and the money we get from scholarship is very helpful. They give scholarship every year but it is a tedious process as it contains many queries to fill. Scholarship is given to everyone.

Campus Life

3.5

My college is very good at sports. We have plenty of space to play cricket, football, volleyball, badminton, basketball, table tennis, tennis and such. We will definitely win Gold every year for best performance. Our college really deserves it in terms of sports.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, the alumni network is very happy for the current students because they share their experiences based on different circumstances and that will create an impact to the current students whether or not to take the particular path or not. Senior students will face the situation earlier than juniors and ofcourse they are crucial and necessary indeed.

Admission

As I secured good score in my Higher secondary, I got hope that I'll join a good college. I took computer science group on 10th standard as I was interested. In 12th I got 94.5 percentage but that's not going to help me getting good college. The most important thing is getting good cutoff. My cutoff mark was 188.0 is which made me wait for counselling (A process where Anna University selects students based on cutoff). I had 2-3 colleges in my mind. I'm lucky that I got the college which was 1st in my mind. That's how my admission process was carried out.

Faculty

4.5

One of the best things in our college is college faculty. They are very friendly and teach very clearly. They are well qualified and there is no doubt in that. Even the Head of the department takes class in a simple manner which makes us understand easily. They give notes when we can't understand the book content. They are our guide when we need help.

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming. However, more practical projects, industry-based training, internships, and real-world applications would help students become better prepared for careers and further studies.
