Regarding the institute

Like every things, the college also have lots of pros and cons among itself. Counting the pros will provide a list of much larger size as that of the cons. Pros basically ranges from its placement statistics to the hostel arrangements as well.

It is a semester system and exams occur in a duration of 2 months along with minors and lab exams. In the first 2 months,half of the course is covered and mid sem exam is taken. Alongside the course, Lab exams are also taken at the end of sem's.

The placement opportunities of the college is increasing exponentially for the college. Most of the students of the college in IT branches get placed with an estimated salary at in campus placement taken by companies ranging from Amazon to Capgemini.

There are many events celebrated in the college: 1) Independence day. 2)Hindi Diwas. 3) National Vigilance Week 4)NCC week celebration. 5)Inter NIT Sports 6) Durga Puja celebration. 7)Idd up azha celebration.

The fee structure of the college is also distributed in various categories depending on the annual income of the students family. The students with income less than 1lacs are given a full waiver of the tution fee.

There are many types of scholarships and loan facilities available for the students in the college starting from minority to siemens scholarship. Most of the scholarships are availed for the students throughout the course.

Among the extra curricular activities, there exists a wide variety of the same. There are playgrounds for almost all the sports especially the indoor games have arrangement of world-class level. New wooden badminton court is made which comprises of three badminton courts and also space for table tennis as well.

The college extends its network connection with the alumnus in a drastic way. Every year, a grand fest namely the REX-ian is organized by the college to call upon the alumnus who passed the college 25 years ago and are now settled in various places with standard way of living.

Clearing JEE mains with a bare cutoff and then going for Jossa counseling until a seat is confirmed in NITS. After that reporting the college in person with proper documentation ranging from HSLC and HS marksheet to birth certificate.

Faculties are very good here in case you are doing PG or PhD here. For UG degree, faculties are educated but one will find very few faculties here who teach up to the mark of betterment of the students.
